It was a shame that the RCN decided to change Athabaskan as Iroquois and Iroquois as Athabaskan after HMCS Iroquois was damged by german bombs while being built in england

HMCS Haida (G63) sank more enemy surface tonnage than any other Canadian warship.She only saw World war 2, Cold War and Korea.Year od Serivce 1943-1963.

@lioncadet Umm, Nothing really happened to it. After all, it's the only one to live on.

@ninjahistory it's been damaged heavily at least three times sometime by the enemy sometime by their own ships, sometimes by their own shells exploding prematurely in the gun (thats how Haida lost the two men that it lost) considerign when the Athabaskan went down the torps that sunk her past Haida by a margin of 50 feet...and they were in the middle (quite literally) of an enemy minefield so yea lots happened

@lioncadet However, no one from the Haida passed away in that incident, or in any of them. The only deaths on board the ship was due to a jammed rocket that blew up on board, killing the 2 men that were in charge of firing at the enemy ship
