Hate to admit it, but I never played this game. I was born in 1980 and I played a lot of early SNES games, including SMW1, but by time this game came out I was hitting puberty hard and the only thing I was thinking of was girls and masturbating.

For me, Yoshi's Island had the best ending to a game ever. I played the hell out of this when I was six in 1996.  It went above and beyond Super Mario World's ending, that's for sure. I would later get to experience Chrono Trigger's ending, and Earthbound's endings at 19, yet they still don't hold a candle to this.

The now so called Hero is worshipped for his actions, but before the legend that was a lil story of a small baby dragon, who risked his life with his clan to fight of the koopa clan at their peak of power. A small lil green yoshi faced evil, brave, cheerful never complained, and determined to help a fellow being. The ending, is sad.

I guess maybe Kamek must have thought that with his magic powers, he made Bowser so big and powerful that nothing could hurt or kill Bowser which is why Kamek said to Yoshi that it wasn't fair. (Perhaps Kamek is losing his powers and/or, his powers have become weak ever since baby Bowser flattened him from 4:48-4:50).

@rotwater They're still putting love and care into each of their games, it would seem weird if they're not a single bit effected by modern marketing, they have to now that they get competition from two huge sharks, Microsoft and Sony. Nintendo have been making video games for about 25 years and still maintain a really high standard, it's a long time and people should respect them for that.

Honestly he showed why he is better than Mario. yes Mario is the legend, Luigi is the legend and side shadow of The main Legend. But Yoshi was the first to totally go out of his way as a baby himself. He fought things Mario would need help on, they fought and crossed mountains and even space. One weird thing about this game is if you have it on the Super Nintendo, notice the font of the letters. If you have a ROM, the font of the letters are different. I don't why this is, but I have a ROM and the font is like the Super Nintendo.
