  • I could be wrong but either way that's a nice sound that I don't hear any more.

    Pistons the size of dinner plates and they would idle really slow - maybe 300 RPM if I remember correctly. That was MANY years ago so someone with more exposure to those old iron horses might be able to provide a better number.
