@dalis902 The green makeup (they usually use) is Mac Chromacake in the color Landscape. It's part of their "Pro" collection, so you have to have a pro account to purchase it from their website, and it's fairly expensive. Some alternatives for the green are Paradise Makeup AQ, which is about $10. The powder is a theatrical setting powder which is translucent. Baby powder would make the makeup look chalky because it's white, and wouldn't keep the makeup from smudging. Ben Nye powder is also $10.

@LoveBroadway1510 It could be Pros-Aide which is acres stronger than spirit gum as far as adhering goes. Or it could be regular spirit gum - I don't know for sure though, I'm afraid.

@Jameess06 No offense but... I found a video on YouTube of the London production and it was awful... Some of the singing was good but it did sound a bit rushed and the accents really destroyed it. Glenda sounded weird trying to be stupid with that accent so she didnt act and her singing was terrible... And it didn't sound right it was not too good... If I had to rate the London production 2/5 stars THE BROADWAY PRODUCTION NOW THAT WAS GOOD 5/5!!!!

@Beatully No Offence but that may just have been a bad performance every wicked show wherever it is has bad and good days but all the casts around the world are talented and it may be to some people the english accents are annoying or the american accent annoys the english or scottish accent annoys english but besides that these people are extremly talented but im not saying your wrong and your completly right bout broadway 10/10 :)

Yes, london is very slow with makeup, It takes every other production very little time to get ready for everything. the only fast thing the london production does is the show. they rush through every scene, it's not even acting when they're up there.

@gravitydefying94 Maybe you need to realize the difference between "fact" and "opinion." Just because you don't like a certain actress doesn't mean she's not good, its an OPINION. So stop going around saying which Elphabas "suck" and which are "good" cause it's all OPINION!

Also there's something called dialect; it's when people speak with a different accent but it's the same language. Just because they talk faster doesn't mean they rush and it's not acting... Keep your opinions to yourself.

I just watched her 2 nights ago and she's really good. I personally prefer her to Kerry Ellis (listened to Ellis on youtube). Khadime's powerful voice just reverberates across the theatre. Defo a must-watch.

I was lucky enough to get a little backstage tour after one of their performances and our guide told us that each wig is real human hair, on average each costume costs £10,000 and as Alexia said, it's made specifically for each person so they can't share costumes, their understudies all have to have their own costume made incase they can't perform.

Glinda's costume (the blue dress) is the most expensive and costs £300 a week just for someone to maintain it.
