It is strange to assume a wild animal will have controlled behaviour, if you ask me the way these tours are made in these open vehicles is dangerous, it will only take a crazy animal or a stupid tourist...
@koilakanthos: It is strange to assume that we do not know what we are doing!!! We study Ethology which is the study of animal behaviour (Google it!) we give the tourists a safety briefing before embarking on a guided nature experience (game drive or walk). The tourists also sign indemnity forms, as with any tour. As for the open vehicles. isn't the whole point of a safari to get closer to the animals? Or am I missing the point here and you have done this before and know better?
@ZxKaLuMxZ: No such thing as a stupid question! Yes they probably could, but the animals are used to seeing vehicles and are not threatend by them, they also do not associate vehicles with prey / food... As long as the tourists stay seated and quiet then it is fine...
These animals wow they are just awesome i would do anything to get a Lion as a pet ( if i knew how to controll it ) wow i love them really makes me so happy just of see them.
@VANPTA That was actually totally amazing ! Thanks for sharing the video and your seriously brave to be on the ground so close to a Rhino think I would have run off soon as I saw it lol :P And the baby elephant was the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen :)
Very good, but putting people in open vehicles with wild animals around them is just not accepted. One cannot predict the behavior of a wild animal and that should be taken into consideration at all times. But I would'nt mind your job !! I am just jealious !!
@TheInformalstyle Africa's a big ass country, huh? Isn't it like a continent or something? Anyway, it depends on what area in Africa you're talking about. If you think about it, America has actually got quite a lot of weapons. So what are they shooting? I know it's not just animals....
@TheInformalstyle Are you American? Africa is not a country. Good grief man. Not all of Africa as a continent is covered in uneducated poverty and mindless hunting for the rich. Animals do not roam the streets
U make it very clear that u are an american i.e an idiot! Africa is a continent and not a country. Yet u feel u know enough about it to comment. do everyone a favour and shut ur stupid mcdonalds eating yank mouth shut. Hunting is one of the main drivers for conserving game in Afica - its a motivator to establish conservation areas and puts a value on wildlife. u idiotic spineless fool. go do some research
Love this! South Africa will always be a very special place, and with wildlife such as this, who could argue. You are a lucky, lucky, guy! Thank you for sharing your video.:-)
@mauricevdkal: Hi there, the cheetah and young lioness playing with the dog were raised as tame animals, but essentially they are wild at heart... The other animals were all wild.
Look at the woman doin the Father Son Holy Ghost Amen at 4:45 !! She prays to the lord that she will be safe. Thumbs up who thinks i spotted that well!
@Mattorzo: Yes they survived. The elephant was curious and checked out the vehicle, then he stepped back and the guide drove off and then everyone changed their underwear... haha
@VANPTA when the car drove off, did the guide know that the elephant didn't see that as something that would scare the elephant? or do the elephants there see cars all the time. btw, i hope no pocher/hunter would abuse the trust of this elephant that it has over human beings. nice video though dude. i wish we could see some wild animals one day.
@frostyknickers: No such thing as a stupid question! A Game Ranger / Field Guide offers guided "photographic" safaris to tourists. A PH (Professional Hunter) offers hunting safaris to tourists or hunters, which would be in combination to an outfitter and hosted on a private game farm where hunting is permitted. I hope that answers your question :)
@webbtz3591: Uhm, no there are between 20,000 and 30,000 wild lions left from over 200,000 in recent years. by the dark marks behind the last elephants eyes it was in musth, it increases testosterone by 60 times
they use that as an excuse in india to tie them to poles and starve them for up to a month so they dont hurt anyone
i think the only reason they hurt anyone is because the are tortured in to being slaves and imagine when you are really pissed off then times it by 60, but if you are happy then everything is cool
A Bitis arietans bit the guy in the neck, did he survive ? Good to see such beautiful black-maned lions. Spent 3 months in Kenya, nothing compares to Africa for natural beauty
