Excellent and horrifying film, one of the best horror movies of the last decade. Reminds me of such shockers like New York Ripper, House on The Edge of the Park and even Miike's movies, boy the Japanese and Europeans know how to make horrifying movies

There must be some desperate men in France to get that psycho knocked up.

I just watch it to the end to see if it was just one big joke.

And don't get me started on 'Martyrs'....

Now 'Irreversible'....What a fine example of pure disturbing brilliance.

Pure gore suspense horror fan, hands down one of the best ive seen....

Sits number 1 for me as well, and thats taken out a shedloads of classics..

she got the baby. The zombie was the tazered cop who (as I read from a fan on IMDB) if you are tazered in close proximity it can have a stunning effect. That I guess for this film was heightened to zombie/violent status

What was the ending? I didnt understand it because it looks like she took the baby and had it as her own, but i was told that it could mean many things. Plus who the hell was that zombie guy who started beating the crap out of the pregant girl toward end.

The witch could have taken the baby and lived, or she could die there. OR the mother could have died in the car crash, and the movie is a metaphore of her soul's catharsis while the nurse (shown as the witch) is trying to "take" (actually save) the baby away. Many possible ways to look at it.

The zombie was the friendly young cop, shot by a rubber bullet in the head at close range: massive brain damage, and popped out eyes. Instinctive primal rage is the only response he's able anymore.

so...Im a BIG fan of horror movies...this was the first gore film I saw....from 0 to 10...I'll give it an 8....the plot is awesome....the end really sucks...the effects are lame at times, but they still make you feel sick O_O and of course, its a really original film, no doubt of that...it barely had any cliche.

so...

see it ONLY if u like horror films. If u are addicted to empty gore, dont watch it.

This movie is... "The Business".... Period... High Tension, Martyrs, Frontiers and this one take the cake on hardcore bloodfest craziness... MUST WATCH... Best in the Genre... Best...

this is one of my fav movies of all time. its dark its hardcore. i have seen it about 5 times, and i have yet to be able to fully watch THIS scene in the movie. I CAN WATCH ALOT OF GORE BUT WHEN IT COMES TO STICKIN A STICK IN UR THROUGHT, THAT FREAKS ME OUT.. but like i said awsome movie, if u like horror gore and craziness then WATCH THIS MOVIE~!~
