The best part was the acting, though, because all the characters seemed very real and seemed like people you could care about. Interesting story, too. Kept me interested. It's a decent movie. It resorts to lowest-common-denominator scare tactics, i.e. jump scares and false climaxes, but it's still watchable. The acting makes the overused story interesting, and the effects do their job without being excessive. People give it to much credit, because really the best horror movie this year was Drag Me To Hell, but I actually enjoy watching it.
