@lordfortqui this is actually like 3-4 years before Gears 1 because Jace was only like 5 or so when E-Day happened but he's about 17 here

@Barricade2091 yeah. "shortly after E-Day" can't be correct. Plus Operation Lifeboat (which is how Barrick became a Gear) wasn't started until the 9th year of the war.

Well this is the past so dom just found marcus while they fight and minh must of benn seperated with his squad and later meet with dom and marcus and minh finnaly died for fighting in what he want.........vengeance

@touchNazty kim (mihn) died 14 years after that. Marcus was put in jail after the fall of Ephyra then a bit after dom saved him and then kim died not so long after

@Barricade2091 comics are before but yeah he did die during a attack. They were getting ambushed and the raven came to save them so when Dom and Jace got in, Marcus and him were holding them off. Barrick then told marcus to escape to raven and he'll hold them off. Marcus refused but was persuaded by barrick to leave. Barrick helped them escape by giving them enough time to hold the locust off. There he died after rushing at them in battle.

@Barricade2091 Yeah, Barrick like jumps into an Emergence Hole and fights of a whole lot of Bloodmounts so that his squad can escape and he ends up dying inside.

@sadpolo88 He died right before the events of Gears of War 2. He and Delta squad were escaping from a place called Montevado that was being sunk by the locust. To keep the story short the situation turned to shit after running out of ammo and Barrick stayed behind to give Delta the time to escape. He was shot in the back by a Bloodmount, but not before ripping two locusts in half with his bare hands.
