Well, as far as I have read and seen, there was a huge difference between Huckabee and Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan cut taxes and was a huge supporter of laissez-faire, while Huckabee has a tendency to raise taxes... not to mention in 1984 Ronald Reagan was the incumbent candidate for president, which is not the case for Huckabee so the comparison to Reagan (first used by Huckabee himself) is pretty invalid.

He told the Christian Broadcasting Network he had a theology degree, he told voters in Iowa he had a theology degree, he repeated the claim in last month's CNN YouTube debate and he wears his faith on his sleeve to pander to the Christian vote but guess what, his campaign now says, he has no degree in theology. He carried 49 states in his 1984 reelection bid ...the biggest landslide in US history ... a campaign managed by Ed Rollins who was just named as Mike Huckabee's campaign manager ,

Well, as far as I have read and seen, there was a huge difference between Huckabee and Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan cut taxes and was a huge supporter of laissez-faire, while Huckabee has a tendency to raise taxes... not to mention in 1984 Ronald Reagan was the incumbent candidate for president, which is not the case for Huckabee so the comparison to Reagan (first used by Huckabee himself) is pretty invalid.

From the rumor mill (a Giuliani supporter in Kansas) tells me word is Westboro Baptist Church is supposedly endorsing a candidate next week... and it's Huckabee.
Can you imagine how badly that's going to reflect on his campaign? I don't know whether it's true or not at the moment (this is just a rumor he heard from some other guys in the area), but if true it's going to go down hard. If you don't know who this 'Church' is, Google it.

I believe Huckabee is a serious canidate for the Republican nomination as he should be but,
I'm very dissappointed in his commets that came out today about George Bush and his administration. He sounded like John Kerry, Hillary, Obama and any other of the Bush bashing Democratic canidates. I just wish he had thought his comments out before jumping in and giving the Democrats a campaign opportunity to say "See, even Mike Huckabee agrees with us!" Not a good move Mike.

You don't build a "greater America" by growing the federal budget, adding to the national debt, and destroying the dollar. Huckabee has plenty of ideas on how to spend more money, but he hasn't identified a single program to cut.
He says he needs a line item veto, but that's a cop-out, since he'll never get one. Even the FairTax he proposes is based on bogus projections and would never pass anyway, just like the Constitutional amendments he wants.
