Where is part 3! You need to send this to some people in Hollywood because this is one of the best works that would easily be viewed as professional with some more work! Excellently produced! We need part three and then some!
Hollywood would rather mine our childhood and make remakes of every movie we already seen than make something bold inventive and new. Zelazny was so ahead of his time on the amber series its ashame we have to endure so much unoriginal crap these days. Hats off to you guys for trying, maybe somebody will recognise ambers potential one day.
I don't know why Hollywood hasn't tried to make a movie out of Zelazny's books (except for Damnation Alley, right?). Even your home made version is better than some "professional" stuff being made right now. Who knows, some big production company head-hunter may be looking at your vids right now... ;-)
You know, I thought about making a movie of some sort back in high school when my friend was doing these projects, but I decided that I would rather just write a script and pitch it for a high-profile film rather than do a home-made version. Pretty good interpretation, though. Grats.
hehe sometimes you just have to take the plunge and hope for the best! I suppose you could call it home-made xD definitely not high-budget high-profile film for sure. I would certainly enjoy and watch if it were to be adapted into either films or a television series however :D Thanks for the comment!
@pantscannonmedia Yeah, sorry! Not taking anything away from this. I enjoy this adaptation. My personal opinion is that this book series could use a movie series a la the new Star Trek. Haha- we should all write JJ Abrams!
hey man thanks. We have noticed that alot of people didn't notice there are 2 parts so I wanted to make sure you noticed that part 2 is in the video responses. Part 2 is where the really neat stuff happens but it seems to be getting fewer views. please share this with your friends if you like it. Also feel free to ask any questions about anything such as plot changes we made or whatever we really want to know what people think.
Yeah I saw part two. I like how you made it modern day, giving them cell phones and what not. Are you planning on making more? Because (don't take this the wrong way) with your budget, it might be pretty difficult to do Rebma and other parts of the story.
I love who you have for Random, he fits the character perfect. My whole family are Amber geeks, and I will definitely show them these at Christmas.
Awesome glad you enjoyed Part 2. And you're right on with attempting to continue anything, we would not be able to honour some of the story properly. However, we adapted what we could manage, and tried to make it enjoyable not only for the fans but to invite new people to enjoy Zelazny's writing :D Alex Oberheide (Random) is a phenomenal actor, I would love to see him as Random in the future one day. I hope your family enjoys our humble attempt to bring life to Zelazny's work. Thank you so much!

I'm beyond impressed with all of the effort, creativity, and comedy put into an otherwise dark and mysterious story. The acting was believable and enjoyable.. Even better, it had me laughing.. :) What's not to love?
I had not read the series when the production of this started. From watching clips, raw and refined, I found myself more and more curious. This inspired me to read the books.. And best of all, it makes me wish this really were a series with all these actors.
