Change starts here, let us listen to the music, and take in what we all want. Change, whether it be our lives, our political system, or our music. Either way the human experience is supposed to evolve. By the way, I would put this guy in my band in a milli-second. this could be the link to finding the drummer you need.
Good track but voice does get bit whiny. Eric and Matt both brought something different to Rebelution, why does everyone feel like they have to take sides? Remember respect for all our brothers and sister! Its all about the music. Rock on!
honestly if he left cause he wanted to branch out into other types of music because he wass sick of doing just reggae im glad he left because if rebelution turned into this kinda music id have no good tunes to calm me down this is depressing as all hell
@rudeboy6543 amen brotha hes just wining and trying too hard with his voice. rebelution is far better without him, they have upbeat good vibes that make you wanna smoke some cheeba with your buds and just have a killer time all around. theres enough depression downbeat music in this world..more herbs for the youth. stay easy stay up
It's not man, this is really good...Like I love reggae, but this sounds really good. like rock steady/slow rock. I'm glad he left to make THIS music. just an opinion tho :D
I heard rebolution and liked 4 or 5 songs but i listen to DMI and theres not a single song i dont like. He needs to stay away far away from rebelution and do his own thing. He will gain alot more respect and recognition if he goes on and keeps it real like he has been currently doing
well he is a good reason why there first cd is doing so well. he wrote half the music. so...and he was committed read the reply to why HE left. lifes about choices and he made a decision dont bash him bec of it. Check out his cd i bet you will like it. Time for A change Drum Major Instinct
yea they did not see eye to eye on where the music of the band was going to go...he wanted everyone to be open to other ideas of music and not strictly reggae..so he parted ways with the band.
What a song..... Matt is an inspiration....for ANYONE to do what they want in life! Be patient, and good things will come!

It doesn't sounds like he's whining. He sounds pretty soulful to me.

love his music, sad that he left rebelution but I think he might be better off by himself...thats my opinion

I agree. I like the DMI sound a lot better, not to say that rebelution isn't great, just i prefer the new direction.

people need to start tabbing songs from this album. Rebelution and DMI are great, especially Matt Valasquez, obviously...
