  • saw the photobucket pics. Good job!

  • i see that ur khmer man...Dam the paint came out pretty clean to

  • what mix are using for the paint and mineral spirits?

I have watched your other videos dude.

thumbs up without a doubt. good shit

  • @DCnum13 sometimes i do 100% paint. sometimes 90/10 or 80/10 with a measuring cup

  • hey, do you think spraying it is better than rolling it? im going to try it this weekend

  • @DCnum13 i personally like spraying better. less process and mixing. SOMETIMES great results. watch my other videos thx :)

  • what size compressor you using, and how much and where was that gun?

  • probley seems like a dumb question but where can i buy this type of paint, does it matter what kind of rustoleum?

  • man I wish I would have had a spray gun I had to got the roller route, and it sucked balls, but still worth it.

  • Hey i was thinking about doing to to my red EF, i was just wondering if you had any videos when it's finished?

  • @Jolencarbon213 no i dont, but in the information there are images of it finished.

  • @YoungStatic Oh darn, must have missed that before... Looks pretty good though for only spending $50. I'm going to have to do this now lol. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • @YoungStatic men what type of red is that?? please answer

  • @vaner1995 sun rise red

  • This is just how MAACO does it, except you save around 400 bucks and it turns out even nicer since you actually care about your car LOL

  • @wajalama qft

  • How much for that spray gun tho

  • @ryanmajor2 red and gray from home depot, ~100bucks.

  • Looks awesome. What kind of longevity can be expected from a job like that?

  • @kostamerican05 of all the cars i painted, only my car is still with me. the paint was fine for about 2 years before it was keyed. this was also no treatment (no buffing with compound) i repainted it 2010 sept and its still very shine today.

  • wet sanding like no tomorrow. there were prob so many little bumps of dust and shit from keeping that tent thing open.

  • @chimchimtex does look awesome though

  • i seen in the coments you said you ratio it at 90/10 but is it 90 paint 10 thinner or opposite please reply

  • @tybonater52906 90 paint 10 ms

  • any pics of job? doesn't look half bad for 50 bucks lol

  • @skwurlking82 just added in the information box. enjoy.

  • @YoungStatic wow turned out very very good for a 50 dollar paint job! lol

  • why no just by kia or hyundai paints, if ur going to the trouble of prepping it you may aswell buy actual car paint

  • What size compressor you using? cause ive talked to a few people who say that the compressor is everything and ive talked to others who say it really doesnt matter unless your going for perfection as long as you take your time on the prep it will turn out good

  • what did u use thin it out with

  • @77vwdude You use clear mineral spirits

  • did you put a clear coat over that? To keep the shine, does it begin to look dull?

  • no and no

  • what size compressor did you use?

  • 12gallon

  • wanna paint my ef sedan for me

  • Love your home made paint booth...I also tried the Rustoleum paint jub..but I used a roller...you can never get it smooth or shiny...siigh

  • thx. this car and a few others cars after this one came out smooth like butter.

  • @trunk516 did you 50/50 it with mineral sprites?

  • @trunk516 it can just make sure you use gloss.. not semi gloss. and after your paints cured wet sand it and hit it with some rubbing compound. I did about 5 coats and it actually looked better than some factory jobs.

  • how about buffing.....ive with satin paint...then buffed...would u recommend it....i work at home depot so i get every thing fo fweeee....

  • buffing would make a world of a difference. ive done it. but dont waste your time buffing out a satin paint..i mean its satin for a reason..

  • looked like a husky brand gun from depot? what psi were u spraying it at and did u stay with the 50/50 mix ratio for spraying?

  • yes it is. im at 60psi and i did a 90/10 ratio.

  • damn just bought sunrise red and it looks like orange. i might have to use that gloss grey.

  • this car is super red, idk how yours look orange..

  • i wanted it to be more of a dark red. But from the videos i have seen they are looking more like a bright red almost orange. I think imma bite that glosss grey civic you got instead

  • i have a red eg bro and like it look like a macco paint job paint started to chippp is becuase of the clear coat not on? i see that u do a very good job with painting the car but u dont use the clear coat wud ur paint chip in the future?

  • macco, it s probably a single stage. my paintjob, rusto, does not chip at all unless someone did something stupid.

  • Thinned?

  • ay where can i get differnt color from and how big was ur air tank that u use to paint ur cars with

  • they should be on the shelves at the store. mine is a 12gal.

  • was the tunk dented when you painted it?

  • yes.

  • how much would it cost for a yellow paint job on a 96 civic hatch?

  • ~30 if you have equipment.

  • yae how long u let it sit before u shoot the clear??? one day or u spray right after that????

  • no clear. 1 hour shoot 2 coats and let the rest of the day to dry. the beauty of Rustoleum.

  • i would still put clear coat, never can have too much protection ...or shine

  • clear will not work. they will react and start to bubble. instead of shine it will be dull. trust me.

  • Nice job bro. I set my ef paint job back, and turboing my ek. But defently going to paint the ef sedan soon. Hope it comes out as good as yours.

  • it actually came out better than i expected, few flaws but nothing 8 bucks cant fix

  • aight cool thanks for the info

  • whos car is that?

  • my cousin's red sedan crashed. so we cloned the same car but on a hatch.
