  • Hello great job I have a Concord and was wondering what the drawbar settings would be and if I could get that Booker T sound with the Concord?

  • @TheNorthernSoulKing Hi there, well I tend to pull out 8' to about halfway and then most of the black drawbars nearly all the way for a reedy sound, I use the leslie effect but i think Booker T ,on the original green onions sometimes may have used the drawbars dry or with only a little chorus 1

    Hope this helps.

    best wishes J

  • @organaut Thank you can I get the same sound with the concord as the B3?

  • Percussion Please =D

  • @tvseal0001 not sure what you mean can you explain? what does " =D " mean also? I am not into all this abbreviated lingo like people use in text messages.

  • @tvseal0001 Do you mean percussive attack on the drawbars ?

  • Really nice, I love that Hammond sound!

Hope you'll have lots of fun playing it!

  • Well done Jason, you seem to be enjoying the XK3, especially now you have the Lower Manual

  • @cheshire1uk With the vent It means I can get the type of Hammond sound I

always wanted which could previously only achieved in a Miked-up studio situation.

Even when I used to have a Hammond A100 and a Leslie 770 I couldn't get this kind of sound. Plus my electric bill is considerably less with the XK3 and vent !
