They did the penny off the Empire state building and they proved you can't kill someone doing that... nor most likely could you do it with a quarter... it would hurt and most likely make you draw blood but 90% says it would not do much more... unless you have some sort of a condition or your very old...

The same applies for nearly all American towns. Those who settled in a place tended to name it after where they were originally from. Most of the exceptions to that rule are the places that still retain their Native American names.

oh, my friend did that next to me on the superman ride at six flags. when we got to the top, he let go of a penny and it kind of floated, then he grabbed it before we went back down. we went on that ride maybe 5 times, and he did that trick on all but 1 ride, except one time he didn't grab the penny in time and it almost hit me in the head as it fell... lol

I did that, successfully, on "Demon Drop" at cedar point in sadusky, ohio. Trick is to do it inside a large tube and hide them in your jacket. They never noticed. Oh, to help you out, quarter got the most "air".
