Hi Maangchi! Great Recipe! Btw, I have a question. Are you going to cook this in constant high heat or will you reduce the heat after a couple of minutes?
Maangchi! This recepy is so great, I made it for my roommates and they were really happy with this recepy! But I have one question. Could I put in more vegetables so I could reduce the amount of meat? Could you maybe recommend vegetables I could make with this?
@Pietj0 yes, you can use more vegetables. I would add mushrooms such as white, oyster, or shiitake mushrooms. If you add too much vegetable, it will turn out watery. Happy cooking! : )
Hi Maangchi! I've been enjoying your videos and wanna try cook many of your recipe!! BUT... most of you recipes are probably very spicy right? I like spicy food but some of my family can't eat too spicy food.... I really wanna try your recipe!! do you have any good ideas so I can enjoy and also my family??
oh... can I reduce the amount of Hot pepper flakes/paste?? Even so, do you think would it taste as good as your recipe??
@imut0121 Yes you can modify my recipes according to your taste. I have many of non spicy recipes. Check out non-spicy category in the recipe section on my website. Happy cooking!
I tried to cook this and it was super easy and SUPER DELICIOUS! I posted the picture on facebook, my friend asked for the recipe and she made it for her husband's birthday. They love it as well. Thank you, Maangchi!
Why aren't you on T.V. yet? + What region of Korea does your cooking come from? Your channel is a GOD send :) I love Korean food sooooo much. Now I can do it myself. THANKS!!!
Just made this with chicken. Very favorable response from the family. Yes it is hot, but in a pleasant way. We ate it with just rice which made it hotter I think. Next time I will likely use shrimp and/or scallops with some peanuts for garnish.
i made this but i used crushed pepper idk if its the same thing... it came out very very spicy... but it was still good. next time i think im not gonna use the crushed pepper or use less.
i literally saw this video, and went to the store and picked up the ingredients! now i have finally finished and its soooo delicious!!!!! thanks!! and i'm a newbie to korean cuisine!

@Maangchi, I love pork belly. This meal tastes great with white rice too:) I'm salivating. Please advice me on what kind(brand) of white rice should I buy because I think rice in korean restaurant is better than other Asian restaurants. Thanks.
