I own a Dominelli guitar, and am constantly getting comments on how great it sounds. It really is beautiful. It is a spruce top, and very shiny French Polish. These guitars are gorgeous!
Marcus, the video shows me that Andrew Mah, a world-class classical guitarist, is not only happy with your guitar and how it sounds but also is willing to demonstrate it and essentially, at least for me, to add his name to your name. Thus, when at last I could play your guitar, I was not only not disappointed but also surprised at how fine a guitar you had achieved - namely its sound, aesthetics and playability.
Thanks for that comment. While it's true that Andrew's playing is very strong, this recording does not capture the true essence of the sound of that guitar. I decided to post the video anyways, and I think it's been worthwhile. But I will eventually have to put up a better sounding demo of one of my guitars.
I played one of Marcus' guitars at GFA and the sound of this demo (while typical of YouTube) does not even come close to how great it really sounds in person. He's in my top 5 living builders. If I ever hit the lottery....
The guitar sounds kind of compact as though insufficient breathing space for the vibrations of each note to project with considerable sustain and clarity. There's something about the note G#(if not mistaken) in the last piece at 7:06 onwards which i find it sounded a bit muffled. It'll be nice if the guitar in this model producing much brighter & clearer tones in the future. Maybe, with little 'nasal' sound in the guitar would enhance its overall acoustic quality.
Greetings from Spain, you're a great guitarist. Can anyone put the name of the songs?. Thank you.

What a fantastic sounding guitar! It's nice to have a demo of the sound capabilities of a great instrument.
Bravo to Marcus for your craftmanship and to Andrew for his great playing!
