theres been no legal evidence or conclusion by any legal or sports that judged that thr was any connection with PRIDE or DSE with the Yakuza. its a bullshit accusation that FujiTV made, for which it ultimately killed PRIDE.
The person that exposed them was Seiya Kawamata. Their supposed "Yakuza fixer" who also worked with K-1. Another mind fuck: Kawamata supposedly ran to the States but came back and is now partially in charge of DREAM. And DREAM is owned by K-1 but it is run by former PRIDE employees.
No. But it's pretty close. I do enjoy DREAM. Daisuke Sato and Fumihiko Tachiki works with putting intros together like these like in the PRIDE old days.
I only recently got into MMA about 2 years ago, so I missed most of those beautiful moments. PRIDE is poetry in motion, some of the best mixed martial arts in the world. Here is to DREAM living up to it's potential and making inroad in the United States with the help of HDNet against the ever present UFC.

I will never forget PRIDE. Blood, sweat, tears and a good laugh. 4 years on and it hasn't faded one bit. Every memory just as strong.

Because PRIDE was divided into 2 and many fighters contracted with UFC.
