  • He retired because he sucked at sailing the effing ship.

  • hello people I am a Brazilian and you wanted to comment that I really like the story of the Titanic as it was the world's strongest naviu he sank so meudito aisiberg the more he was never sink the ship that the captain is to be congratulated for having died to ants and people but this required a capião reinildo up my name and more.

  • @reinildo4 - Uh, babelfish?

  • Of course. Any ship that has enough lifeboats for less than half the crew and passengers must be safe.

  • "A voyage you will never forget"

Oh you can count on that

  • @BigBossMITM100 wow talk about not being that far off.

  • Responder a este vídeo...

  • I didn't know Captain EJ Smith was an American :-P Always thought he was British...

  • Yes exactly he was British so WTF is the actor doing playing him with an american accent its so stupid he was only picked for this coz he looked alot like the real Captain EJ.

  • hey i now that guy whaen i went to the titanic exibet last frieday he said the same words and that star case isn't reel its fake iv ben thar

  • oh and the actor looks JUST like the real person. Good job!

  • but I have 2 say, it's very good and I like it

  • ...and I will not conceive of any violent disaster happening to this vessel...

then it strikes iceberg and sinks

  • he still live after 1 century, i sure.

  • I love Captain Lowel. He's amazing to work with. We need him back at the Pigeon Forge Ship ASAP!!!

  • this is an actor but i think the speech is true

  • is amazing the resemblance to the real Captain Smith

  • @Janyre88 I KNOW RIGHT?!

  • Further, Titanic was not racing to beat a record. It was impossible for her to best Lusitania or Mauritania. At worst, Smith is guilty of going too fast, but that was common procedure for North Atlantic captains in such a situation.

  • he sank the boat he tried to brake a record TRUE!

  • @annaliese222

he sank the titanic deliberately? how is taht possible. and how do you know this

  • @streepmeryl ... I hate arrogant idiots like anna, Captain Smith dared not to save his own life when his ship sank, he put others in front of himself.

  • @errerer94 Actually, it was an unwritten rule and tradition that the Captain goes down with his ship. He very well could have gotten on a boat, but that would have been highly dishonorable and he would've faced lifetime of scorn, like Mr. Ismay did.

  • @annaliese222 your an idiot. why would he put people's life in danger? if he tried to break a record then he would've saved himself

  • @coolweirdo34 captain smith was to blame he had overall control of the ship and he still kept full ahead when he was aware of ice he only went down with the ship because it was part of his duty as ships master

  • @TheTraveltube actually the titanic sank because of the rest of the crew ignoring the radio calls...by the time heard the call it was 6 minutes to late...also if they hadnt of tried to turn around the ship would of been able to be saved

  • @annaliese222 Who do you know?

  • awesome.
