I was at there this weekend. I travelled from Albany and found the locals to be very friendly and seemed to be enjoying the whole scene. Can't believe someone could actually insult this music, wilco is one of the most talented and respected bands in the industry.

man, i loved this set (Shot in the Arm was particularly energetic). regarding Wilco's music and North Adams' police costs, etc.... dunno what to say, other than musical taste is, pretty much by definition, subjective. i can say that the owner of the Mohawk bar (think that's the name) looked pretty happy saturday night when his bar was packed.

@TprGTO I thought the town was very welcoming and the concert goers very appreciative. Needless to say Wilco and all the artists (yes, I spoke with a few of them) were humbled at the graciousness of North Adams (sans you, of course...) It brought in much needed revenue for a sleepy New England town. Maybe Kenny Chesney will come and cheer you up!!! Wilco fans need not fret your complaints...
