  • Less heli more work next time gusy.

  • @hinemoaman Well, not exactly all snow plowing. Watch some of the other videos on the list...

  • Shame it was snow plow all the way but good vision regardless.

  • I hate powder that thick. One time I was skiing on ice and picked up a bit of speed, then hit an area of really deep powder, my skiis stopped, but the rest of me kept moving forward, so I did a massive somersault in the air, rolled in the snow and ended up about 100m away from my skis ahah epic fail.

  • yo, it's spelled Whistler

  • is there a problem with powder in the beard?

  • houtoe twan!!

  • Not a bad video if you skip the first 2 min.

  • fast is less difficult than slow ;)

    and its not as fun

  • U go way slow. U suck. U can't ski. U are old. I'm 14 and way better then u

  • @ethanskiierfreeman fuck off twat.

  • that snow looks amazing to ski on

  • id love to do this

  • god i wanna go to whistler so bad.....

  • omg, that looks so fun!

  • hey dude, what type of camera do you use and how much does it cost?i am interested in buying one!thx !!

  • skip to 1:40 to avoid helicopter stuff

  • jealous muchly

  • that powder looks so nice

  • so slow, but very nice video! great man!

  • Whow that looks great!

  • i love this sport... where was this btw?? looks great

    nice video anyway

  • @edwardlindsey01

    Whistler mountain

  • is the weaving to slow yourself down?

    j/w ive never skiid

  • yea kinda, it's to keep yourself in control of your speed - if you just went straight you build speed really really fast and quickly get out of control

  • ever heard of strait-lining?

  • im a bit late but the turns or carves are to stay in control and ready so that if you need to move in a hurry (small avalance you dont need to make bigger) you just turn out of the way. youl also see that turning helps if you watch any videos with tree skiing. especially on anything stepper than a blue you will want to turn or you will get a ticked ripped in a hurry.

  • im guessin i pry got pretty close to gettin my pass yanked last year... borderline black steepness... decided to see how fast i could go at my local hill... absolute blast... took the wax off of my skis so im guessin i was movin pretty good... and carving at that speed is an extreme adrenaline rush

  • i did that exepet i did get my pass yanked and i wrecked the base on my skis i burnt them out. lol funny now not then. especilay because it was like a 3 day $150 pas thay said dont come back

  • dude 150 for three days... i paid 175 for my season pass and i get about 30 days in a year

  • not on my local hill tho. it was a resort at 60 a day to ski. otherwise my local hill is 56 a year and i go every night/ day its open

  • thats pretty good.... night skiin too... my hill doesnt do night skiin... wish they did... hell i think even loveland is 56 a day

  • only on saturdays. but it only has 3 runs plus the ones me and my cousin made

  • oh yea... yea mine has 27 runs open weekends in december till the 19th then open every day exept for tuesday and wednesday... open all week in march

  • you guys made a run? through the trees? or what?

  • As a downhill ski racer, i got challenged by a ski patroller for "skiing out of control" down a black, she was sideslipping, couldn't handle an easy black groomer. I was in a tuck carving a huge turn then i opened up on the bottom and shot right onto the cat track and tucked that to get to the next lift w/o skating. she caught up to me in the lift line. Told me i was out of control, I showed her my FIS member card, told her i was a downhill ski racer, she didn't know what it was i laughed.

  • @powderkillr wow, ur ski patrollers must be real bitches, my local hill supposedly doesnt allow tree skiing but one of the patrollers told me where the best trees were to ski at the hill, they ski em all the time. She didnt know what FIS was, wow she deserves to be shoved off a cliff

  • wow dude i bet you think your cool

  • That happened to me one time, and I'm a Ski Coach.

  • @powderkillr that happened to me a couple of times, to be fair, we may not be out of control, but it scares the living balls off everyone else, so she was probable right to tell you off lol

  • @powderkillr

FIS means fart in swedish, teehee ( >.< )

  • just wondering-how much would something like this cost?

  • heli skiing is very expensive. probably around or above 1000 per day per person.

  • whistler is like 500 i think.

  • this had sound when i listened to it

  • why is there no sound

  • Because WMG (whatever the fuck they are) don't allow sound to be played.

  • doesn't look that bad of skiing. Looks like if you can ski blues, u can ski tht lol

  • thats what it looks like on camera but i bet its prtty steep

  • Dude... I can't believe you crossed their tracks, and then you couldn't even spoon them!!!

  • well worth it!

  • very nice!! im gonna do it my next ski trip!

  • it was reported to be ~$600

we hope the later versions have:

    - zoom remotes in your ski poles

    - image projection in the googles to see what you are shooting

stay tuned for the 2018 videos...we make ski movies about once per decade and the technology keeps on improving...

    Stu

  • @stustu12 fucking sick...why only once every 10 years how much to do?

  • nice... how much was your helmet cam

  • Nice video! What kind of camera set-up were you using?

  • combination of a hand-held sony and the helmut cam...scotty has the make & model info

  • fantastic!
