Hi,

I want to change my menu icons but i don't know how to do it. I tried to use XS++ but i don´t see any kind of icon menu or something like it , i just know that have to be a .png file.

I have a V630i @ w660 modded...Bust I also don´t know how to make flash menus real work, because i´ve tried to make but dont work, i instal the swf file in the correct place with xss++ , and instaled the theme in the right place but when i instal the theme it doesn´t change the menu...

What i´ve to do ???

Thanks for your replay :D . I want to open the Walkman without opening facewarp and minimize it. I read on a Arabic site that I must use turn off orange lights patch to open Walkman without opening facewarp. But I can't find that patch :S please help, where can I find it? or tell me another way to open Walkman without opening facewarp :D

There isn't any W660 firmware that will "fix" the green and red buttons, if you want them back then you'll have to go back to the V630 firmware.

The call buttons wont work as they were a feature of the Vodafone firmware.

The green call key now is the Walkman button and the Red key now is the Activity Menu key (Called 'Toolbar' on the Vodafone firmware)

Hi, I have a small question. I have a V630 and it simply doesn't want to start anymore. I press the Switch On button and there is only a white screen. Cannot charge, close, etc. Is there some kind of master rest (through the serial cable?) because I am 99% that this is a software problem. Thanks.

Most of the time when it flickers, hold the power-button for about 20 seconds (until it asks for your pin-code) and it should start again =D

You phone is probably CID 53.

CID 53 V630 to W660 is currently not possible.

Still, XS++ 3.1 doesn't work with CID 53 phones.

You have to use FAR Manager with the JDFlasher Plugin.

There are guides around the net on how to use it.

And I can't remember any camdrivers, just look for camdrivers that are compatible with K610 or W660.

it has no camera. either u remove(camdriver0.dat and camdriver1.dat) to get the walkman working without FaceWarp or u has Apply the Immulation Patch to adjust the brightness.

@thewok5: you don't have to remove anything in order for the phone to work. I have a fully working v630@w660, camera, walkman working and 100% brightness (you just have to apply the right patches..that's all)

Basically, in terms of SE Modification, converting is where you put the "Operating System" of one phone onto another (the proper name for the phones "operating system" is 'Firmware')

In this case, I have replaced the V630 'firmware' with the firmware from the W660.

The camera works fine.

The Green and Red buttons however, are slightly different. The Green buttons becomes the Walkman button (goes to the Walkman player) and the Red button is the Activity Menu button (The Activity Menu was called 'Toolbar' in Vodafone firmwares.)
