  • Learned soooooo much from this.

    Few Gold & Plats later.

    Learn your Genesis folkz

  • Hurry and save these.. youtube is taking them off because they suck ass.

  • This was a simply perfect song that I still love to this day. The words and the way that it is sung are just INCREDIBLE. It still chills me to hear it now, like it did back in the day!

  • Damn 9th Wonder went in on this track

  • Wow.....I was in the Army in 82. I loved this song which was sang by Evelyn Champange King. I was just building up my music and got on the Enchantment mode and ran into this. I didn't know until now that it was first done by Enchantment. wow. She did it the same way also. anyway , Enchantment like so many R&B groups didn't get enough top 5 Hits maybe. It was tough back in them days competing with Temptations, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder

  • i play bass, piano and drums. i also sample. i sampled this song, and I think both facets of music are enjoyable.

  • Sad to say I have to agree with everyone well just about I'm 14 and absolutely love this song and this music its the best and waaaaaay better than the rest lol :)

  • and when I say spineless and talentless morons I am talking about todays youth, or niggas who can't play a violin, sing or play a guitar, blow a horn, or play drums, they can't do shit right they all are about getting paid for hollaring about a bitch ain't shit, my rims or the last nigga they shot with a bunch of gizmos and electronics for music or sound, which is real silly to be honest, 2days rappers needs to get a job at a local grocery store and bag some shit up starting with themselves.

  • earth wind and fire, this group enchantment, teddy pendegrass, prince, aretha franklin, journey, the bee gees, patti label, Isley brothers, the ojays, and the list goes on and on with the great ones of the 70's and 80's musicians, they should be ashamed of themselves for not speaking out against this souless, spineless and talentless, bunch of morons who don't know shit about the music industry, but they sit there and don't say shit! they know that lil wayne beyonce and the rest ain't about shit

  • Now this is the epitomy of a man singing about 'extremley' deep love that he has for this woman. Just listen to the words of this song, and it almost makes you want to cry. You start thinking about past loves that you might have had or even the true love that you long for. They sure don't make songs like this today. JUST LISTEN TO THE MUSIC AND LET IT TAKE YOU TO ANOTHER TIME IN YOUR LIFE!

  • Now we talkin!!! Can Chris Brown, Rihanna or Beyonce make music like this? I think not

  • dam people need to stfu and just enjoy the music plenty of young people listen to this like me and quit worrying about what youngsters are listening too i was born1992 and i got alot of vinyl probably more than some of you older people and ive had them forever and have been listening to them forever i agree that some young people have ruined music mainly mainstream artist though but underground artist still make this kind of music so there

  • @OuterLimitBeats agreed !

  • @OuterLimitBeats spoken like a true kid that has no idea on what they are talking about.

  • @mitchl847 at least my comment made sense my parents brought me up on music like this

  • @OuterLimitBeats

I'm really glad that they did. The music now is just too pathetic. Yes, there are some recent groups that sound good but the majority of them do not. They are too busy trying to LOOK good.

  • @mitchl847 thats true music suks today but thats mainstream u need to look into underground cause thats we`re a majority of the talent soul and respect is at

  • Beautiful...music know sucks ass! I feel so sorry for my children!

  • @Ladymodel

Unfortunately, they will NEVER get to experience the music, the way that we did. I feel the same about my daughters. Actually, my 15 year old daughter loves music from the 80's thanks to her mom

  • @mitchl847 Yep I know some many people around my age or younger who actually adore music 80s and backwards :)

  • Love every min.. of this song. Growing up in the Midwest was cool in the late 70s and early 80s. Basement party's just kicking it!!

  • Beautiful classic!

  • bump n grind...tastefully, that is...

The brother has one of the most incredible voices I've ever heard.

Listen to them sing Gloria and hold your hat.

  • We cant live in the past but these sure are beautiful memories of better times in a better place, back in the 70's if we could go back and enjoy those happier days when everything was so care free.

  • This is real music.com ;-)

  • this song has no haters, 0 dislikes

  • this son has no haters, 0 dislikes

  • @dyjhae1 OMG you are right!!!!! That says a lot!

  • This group got the right name....because their sound is very enchanting to say the least. What a powerful sound they have. Some things shall never grow old and this is one of them. I waited til i got old to realize just how powerful good music can be.

  • Can we go back!!!!! Greatest song ever!!! These guys record label put out "Gloria" and not this one! if you didn't hear the album you would have never heard it! Never a single!!! Should have been!!!

  • FOR THE GROWN AND SEASONED....A COURTSHIP CAN BE HELD WITH MUSIC OF OUR ERA....PURE POETRY...WHAT KINDA WOMAN DOESNT WANNA BE TALK TO LIKE THIS!!!

  • my parents raised me on their music, so it's not all young ppl :).........so in love with this song, when i first heard i kept it on repeat!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "seems like I'm always going through changes, living in confusion, confusion, confusion"

  • these groups were writing poetry! st8 poets!

  • the oldies are the best for love songs

  • STILL the JAM! Beautiful Lyrics!!

  • This is ol school for sure grown folks stand up !!!!!

  • ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Enchantment was underrated. This group, with their soulful tunes, makes me want to cry for the REAL MUSIC of the past!!!!! Thank you, hsp 100!

  • ROZAY

  • Beautiful classic!

  • THIS IS REAL MUSIC. THE YOUNG PEOPLE ARE MISSING THE WHOLE MEANING OF A LOVE SONG. THESE ARE THE SONGS THAT HELD MARRIAGES TOGETHER.

  • @roro0765 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, SOOOOO TRUE!!!

  • @roro0765 These songs were and still are magic!

  • @roro0765 you know feminism killed romance and especially love songs right?

  • This is Tuff- E-Nuff sing your song.

  • U-N-I - Soul Hop

  • "sang" it! whoa!!!!!!!!!

  • Enchantment is the TRUTH! This groove is more than 30 years old and still gives me chills. That's real music, that's the Old School....

  • @ATS68 i agree w/ you i wasnt born until '81 but my parents would play this song and it still gives me chills...that's how u know REAL music...it touches more generations than just one

  • @ATS68 These children do not know OLD SCHOOL for real. They think they do. How many do you think can listen to their music 30 or 40 years later like we can??

  • @jebrise lmao im a youngin but damn i love your guys music

  • @jebrise i'm 28, the last of a dying breed. my mother and father inducted me. i still keep the flame, this song i know all the runs and the words. i understand the heritage as it did give birth to my generation and the true youngins that are behind me still sample these beats. energy that's created can never be destroyed thus never forgotten. the generation gap is neither as vast nor profound as it has been portrayed...

  • @jebrise AMEN!!!!! I say that all the time about the music and talent of today. Will they still be around in 20, 30 years for that matter 10 years

  • I know there's women out here that feel this way about their man, but is there any men out there feel or has ever felt this way about their woman.
