I have used ambrosia to transform the mother to a sim, but as soon as I did that, she ran out of the house, and now I cant find her anywhere! Can you make them playable and how??

@tprimero43 The Deathfish you need level 10 fishing (I think). Then go to the graveyard after midnight and fish in the graveyard pond. You must have angelfish bait. The fruit, well you just need to collect a lot of seeds and gardening level 7 (I think). When my sim grew life fruit it wasn't for the purpose of making ambrosia although that is a good extra. Also what hasn't been mentioned is when anyone eats ambrosia ghost or not they get a +75 moodlet which lasts for 1 week.

Protip:

The ghost doesn't need to be playable. Put the ambrosia on the table and have them haunt you. They go straight to it. If they're yours and you have space, they'll be playable. Not sure how well in works for actual NPCs.

You can use the following cheats: "testingcheatsenabled true" and "buydebug on". Enter cheats by ctrl+shift +c, and look by function under question mark. Or get 'Perfect Harvest' from modthesims.info for life fruit.

BOTH must be Perfect. That means use perfect bait.

@deadrecon when your sim has died a another sim from the family will have a call from the science lab and it will ask you to bring the remains of the sim who died., When you bring them, you can control the ghost. Make ambrosia(your sim has to reach level 10 in cooking) and make the ghost eat it. It will be alive again.

@7Vycka7 You need to read the ambrosia recipe book (level 10 cooking) which you can buy for §11,500 from the book store. Get deathfish (level 10 fishing) and grow Life fruit (level 7 gardening [I think])

Question? Is this ambrosia a cheat, or does it actually exist in the normal game? Second, does ambrosia follow the Xena/Hercules cannon? I.E. It revives the dead, and turns the healthy living into immortals/gods? Just curious.

If you go to the book store and look for recipes, Ambrosia is at the bottom of the list. And no, Ambrosia doesn't make the living into gods, it just gives the sim an extra day to live. It would be cool if you could make them into gods, though...

@lawrence5584 it's one of the new features in the game. if u have a playble ghost, ambriosia will make him a normal sim. if u just have a regular sim i think it would increase their lifespan. to make ambrosia u need life fruit and death fish, which means u need to have high skill level in gardening, cooking, and fishing. i have playablde ghost but havent tried ambriosia yet, i think ghsot are already cool enough.

@XanaXaquilinaX well there was this one time i was playing and it was like, they came out with this new thing and we can revive ur sim, but it didnt worked so i could play my sim as a ghost, but then my friend showed me that if u go to the cheat bar and type in: testingcheatsenabled(space) true, you can hold down shift and click on the sciene place and click force oppritunity or event, which ever one works
