i have, he got high off his friends smoking it in 8th grade. long story short he eventually sold it and was caught drunk and high with weed while driving 3 times!! he has lost his license for three years and no longer has a relationship with his family.
most pot smokers i know never tried anything else, or tried and did not like it. the high of H or meth or coke is completly different / the high of weed.

I've been smoking weed almost every day for 9 years. I think I know about gateway effects more than you. Weed does not make you want to do coke, heroin, or pcp. That's just rediculous. Marijuana laws are on the books for a reason. Our founding fathers were against it, and i think they knew what was best. Besides the only people who really want to smoke it anyways are gangster-rappers, and of course Obama. And some ignorant students at a few universities. But for the most part that drug is mostly an inner-city drug. So if you dont want to get labeled, i would be mindful of what you support.
I support full legalization of marijuana. I believe that marijuana is a basic right to every person, just as much as free speech and property rights. The government does not have the right to decide what is good or bad for us. This is a personal decision. It is not the role of government to decide what plants you are allowed to grow, just as it is not the role of government to decide what animals you can eat, which religions you may follow, what you can eat, etc...
These are all personal decisions and it is not the government's job to save you from yourself. Even if you think marijuana has no upside personally, you should still support basic liberty and freedom for others.

I literally had to cover my face the whole night. As i did not want to become some crazed drugged out person via second hand-smoke.

I've been smoking weed almost every day for 9 years. I think I know about gateway effects more than you. Weed does not make you want to do coke, heroin, or pcp. That's just rediculous. You are being lied to in a big way. The only gateway effect it has is a product of the fact that it is illegal (you have to buy it on the black market where there are dangerous drugs nearby)

Marijuana laws are on the books for a reason. Our founding fathers were against it, and i think they knew what was best. Besides the only people who really want to smoke it anyways are gangster-rappers, and of course Obama. And some ignorant students at a few universities. But for the most part that drug is mostly an inner-city drug. So if you dont want to get labeled, i would be mindful of what you support.

I support full legalization of marijuana. I believe that marijuana is a basic right to every person, just as much as free speech and property rights. The government does not have the right to decide what is good or bad for us. This is a personal decision. It is not the role of government to decide what plants you are allowed to grow, just as it is not the role of government to decide what animals you can eat, which religions you may follow, what you can eat, etc...

These are all personal decisions and it is not the government's job to save you from yourself. Even if you think marijuana has no upside personally, you should still support basic liberty and freedom for others.
Our Constitution allows the majority to rule, but says that the majority is not allowed to infringe upon the rights of the minority. So even if the majority of people think marijuana should be outlawed, its unconstitutional because it infringes upon my personal liberty.

If you don't like the interpretations issued by the Supreme Court, or any court for that matter, get a law degree, pass the bar, and persuade the court to entertain another interpretation. I have no patience for whiners or people who attempt to play the game but then "blame the refs" when they lose. There is no bar to conservatives becoming attorneys or arguing that viewpoint, on legal grounds of course, in court. Stop whining and start studying. That's where your change will occur.

Law degree, like from the law society. From the BAR, the British Accredited Registry that swear an oath to the court which is an institution of the Crown???
Furthermore, you aren't signatory to the Constitution therefore you have no right, no title, and no interest therefore you have no standing to state a claim for which relief can be granted.
