Nice vocal performance again Jordan. The reverb was a little too strong and made your voice sound far in the distance. Have you tried doing "Music of the night" yet?
The best amount of reverb, is reverb you can just about hear :).
Here's another challenging song for you, though you would need to find a good female vocalist to do it with you, but it's a great song. It's called "Time to say goodbye" by "Sarah brightman and Andrea bocelli". You'd have to sing it in Italian :) It's a powerful song.

Ericskreemer - Thanks for the lovely comments. Yes Jordan is being trained in the breathing as well. She spends about 30 minutes with him on excercises & breathing before she even starts him on his singing. Some of them are in front of the mirror so he can see his chest or tummy move with the breathing.

Nice vocal performance again Jordan. The reverb was a little too strong and made your voice sound far in the distance. Have you tried doing "Music of the night" yet?

The best amount of reverb, is reverb you can just about hear :).
Here's another challenging song for you, though you would need to find a good female vocalist to do it with you, but it's a great song. It's called "Time to say goodbye" by "Sarah brightman and Andrea bocelli". You'd have to sing it in Italian :) It's a powerful song.

I've done the song myself, and can tell you that it is one of those songs that is a pleasure to sing. It's from "Phantom of the opera" if you don't already know :)
It's a 'musical' song, so should suit you, in your current style of singing :)

Such a nice tone! Great phrasing and pitch.. Right on key, with great control! Is he being trained to breathe properly ie diaphragm as well? Great strength for his age!

Ericskreemer - Thanks for the lovely comments. Yes Jordan is being trained in the breathing as well. She spends about 30 minutes with him on excercises & breathing before she even starts him on his singing. Some of them are in front of the mirror so he can see his chest or tummy move with the breathing.

Great!.. Sounds like Jordan has a real good vocal coach! Nothing worse than an untrained vocalist singing from the throat! Singing properly (as you know) is a combination of natural ability and training! Awesome!

This was written by Mike Batt and was a Number One hit in the UK in 1979 for Art Garfunkel. It was the soundtrack to the sad film Watership Down. Mike Batt had a very sad reason for writing the song too. It's a beautiful, beautiful song and you sung it so well.

As always, you have done a truly fantastic job on this song. I had never heard it before today. It's beautiful but a bit sad. It reminds me of my little brother and my son, both of whom passed away way before their time.
Please keep singing your beautiful music. And please, please get a CD released! I want to be able to take your great voice with me wherever I go.
