He is not really a republican, so its a snowballs chance in hell that he will win the GOP nomination, which will likely be Perry or Romney, And History shows what happens to third parties and independants in a presidential race, why would MSM waste valuable time on a candidate that has so little chance of winning, regardless of his integrity and ideals?

Both Romney and Perry recieve millions of dollars from lobbyists and vote accordingly to them. The honest Dr Paul's vote can not be bought, that is what everyone should base their vote upon. It is simply the nature of the US electoral system. Ron Paul has some good Ideas, I will agree with you on that, but Ron Paul isnt president, and because of how the US electoral system is designed, unless he wins the GOP nod, he wont stand a chance in the actual election. And he has alienated teh GOP so much he wont win that nod.

Hes running for the Republican Nomination. IF the REpublican mainstream isnt interested in Paul, how do you think hes going to win the GOP nod? He's likely to run anyway, and good for him, but an independant cant win in the current system. The system is designed to prevent that from being a threat, though good luck to him anyway.
