This is actually the SCORPIONS w/Roger Waters. Look closely, it is NOT Pink Floyd. The Wall in Berlin concert/cd consisted of Roger Waters with all-star musicians and singers. Too bad Klaus didnt sing here [ though he played the tambourine].

 I cant believe that no one pounced on the chance to criticize this mistake, or to verbally assault those who didnt know that this wasnt actually Pink Floyd; [I mean, this IS the utube community]. Wow, this is a red-letter day for sure!

Interesting about the Fund going belly-up. I hadn't heard that, nor do I quite understand why it happened. Perhaps an official charity needs to bring in a certain amount to be distributed. Or maybe they took a pessimistic view of their chances at meeting their goals. Still, Rog's entitled to it. Perhaps he's found a worthy use for it.

I did another web search and the MFFDR is still, apparently, a registered charity in the UK. That said they don't have a web site.

I think the MFFDR was a failure because it over stretched itself by, unlike say the Band Aid Trust, investing a lot of their initial capital in a big launch (this concert) that didn't pay off.

That said, the Wall proved more memorable and successful a charity gig than Bono's confussed Net Aid concerts or boring old Live Earth, where even the London bill was crap!

That was the full "Worms" animation that was originally created for the 1980 Wall tour. In the movie version they don't cut to the animation until the scene with the reflection of the hammer in the window...
