  • @quatlen noooo shut up

  • fucking Pigeons XD

  • When I lived in Marin, I saw people feeding birds in protected areas that had signs clearly saying not to feed the birds. The stuff people feed them is not what they should be eating, and may influence their migratory patterns? As for pigeons... are they even native to the USA? This seems like a nuisance problem because of droppings, etc. I kind of feel sorry for these people feeding pigeons, but when I lived there, I also wished they wouldn't do it as it attracts the pigeons.

  • San Francisco needs to embrace pigeon meat. It's on any regular menu in Hong Kong. I'm sure there are more than enough people who can cook pigeon properly. This will create more jobs, reduce overhead costs (literally), and provide a cheap and delicious new food source. Humans have effectively killed off a few species in our history. Why can't we wipe out the flying rat? There needs to be a Herb Caen Initiative on the ballots.

  • @promontorium in the usa one can only imagine the nasty desease and other things these rats with wings carry im sure hong kong doesnt go out with a net and snatch them off the street then again hong kongs streets might be cleaner than san francisco's

  • @promontorium ROFL when u said "a few species" - we eliminate *20,000* species a year - without people it would only be - 1,000 - species a year going extinct... i see what u mean though - just that people have a tendency to overhunt and make extinctions occur (such as in case of wolly mammoth).
