not really my kind of thing im just a bassist who got sucked into all this stuff because one of ur vids had the bassballs in it and i was looking at effects. all this stuff goes way over my head. its very interesting though. i cant stop watching ur vids

I appreciate your kind words. I started out as a bassist, but gravitated towards the synth and synthesis. It has a high learning curve but is very rewarding to create a sound from scratch just like it happens in nature. When you can do that you can create your custom bass sounds, from electric bass to futuristic sci-fi bass. Its all from the same source. You could do it with practice. When I was into bass only, I never wanted to use ANY effects, just let the technical playing speak for itself..

question: i have a voyager RME edition and recently bought a vx-352 for it. i'm trying to decide whether to get a cp-251 or vx-351, but i don't know which one would compliment it better. do you have a recommendation? thanks man.

Well 2 things: First go to the Moog music website and join the forum there. Moog Music dotcom slash forum. The second depends on what other voltage gear you have. the 351 and 351 will give you inputs and outputs and with no other CV gear you can only run the Voyagers outputs right back in. THe CP251 will allow for even more modulation. THen theres the ringmod. People on the Moog forum will elaborate more and help you really find what you are looking for.
