  • Can't wait to try! Looks awesome. Thanks

  • 6:01, yeah i get that workout bout every night hahahaha

  • NICE TRAINING MAN - GREETINGS FROM SERBIA <3

  • What's better suspension or pumping/ the one with reps squats?

  • How will that rolling on the thing work

  • Great exercises. My s&c coach makes us hold the dumbbell above the head with arm extended when doing the split squats, really challenges the core. Like the hamstring one def gona give it a try. For anyone doubting the massage roller, I can guarantee you will reduce recovery time, you can use a solid plastic pipe if your on a budget. I've even used a coke bottle filled with frozen water when injured. My mate uses a hockey ball for the glutes, try using a baseball! thanks for the vid

  • doesnt the bulgarian split squat put too much pressure on the knees?

  • where can i buy those soft tissue tools and get list of exercises to do with them?

  • Cool gym: Basketball crt, racketball crt, weights, indoor/olympic gym...

  • i h8 crowded gyms

  • lol waaaayyyyy better than squatting

  • Good luck building strength with this workout lol

  • @BeyondShadowsTV

It depends on how you define strength. I never said it was a how to get strong workout, its a good break from the basics like squats and leg presses. Change is good. Try it for 6 weeks then go back to heavy basics

  • Comment removed

  • @robkingfitness Ok sounds good man.

  • @BeyondShadowsTV this is functional strength man

  • @BeyondShadowsTV well you will become more stable, and if being more stable allows you to squat more then why not give it a try.

  • @OBrien19 Thanks for the good reply

  • @BeyondShadowsTV dude this is more a conditioning workout. strength is always important, but if you don't wanna turn yourself into a 220lb beast that can't move, this workout works just fine.

  • @BeyondShadowsTV

do you want to be strong or appear strong?

  • @bmwjustin1 What do you think? I'm an powerlifter and wrestler.

  • @beyondshadowsband you're also a douchebag

  • not anderson silva =] haha...

  • haha 1:57 the defender got smoked

  • Solid information and nice video.

  • @KaI3l

    Thank you

  • @robkingfitness

I was just re-watching the video and thought I would comment on my experience with the stability ball hamstring curls at your request. I had seen GSP doing this exercise in one of his exercise videos before and then your video brought them to my attention again so I figured it was time to try them out. It is now one of my favorite hamstring exercises along with glute-ham raises. The single leg variation has been working fantastically for me. Thanks.

  • @KaI3l

Awesome man, it is a REALLY Good exercise! Low impact on the joints, easy on the lower back, and you get a crazy contraction off it. Glad you liked it

  • awesome video

  • monkey @ 7.28

  • would that butt workout make my butt look big o.o

  • solid workout. i compete luta livre and traditional heavy lifting was fuckin up my joints. ive been doin this for about a month and my shots feel faster and my knees feel great. keep adding videos... how about an "upper body like phil davis video

  • @marksist415

Thanks man, you cant go "Heavy" all the time. Anyone squatting big weight sooner or later will get injured. I cant train heavy anymore from a herniated disc so I find creative ways to hit my legs. I have a ton more cool training vids ill try to post soon!

  • Great info, worth the money.. Wait its free! AWESOME!! Rob king=class act. Thank you..

  • @TheDoogee

    Rob

  • @robkingfitness

Don't worry about them man, 9/10 times I check the profiles of these trolls.. they are 15 year old kids with anime shit in their favorites, lmao.

The people who matter know to take you more seriously than the random little kids.

  • This looks fun. I'm gonna try it out. Play play play. ^ ^

  • That's video is one of the best video's on youtube with real stuff that works, real efficient, I think you should keep up the good work and give some new videos, I think not me but people that care about sports will really appreciate that. GReat Work

  • These are all great exercises. Ive been doing them and have had significant results. Dont not post videos cause of retards who dont know what the hell theyre doing. Theres still people like me benefiting from your videos. Keep up the good work

  • i noticed your chute box shorts have you and still train in the chute box in los angelos?

  • Don`t give up posting Rob, after 10 years I`m soooo sick of the same old crap, I downloaded the Shin Ohtake workout and just ordered the Rushfit workout from GSP for my birthday...you made me want to go to gym tonight and try this out, plate lunges, bridges & stability ball here I come :) Just kinda stunned y`all wear tees to gym, too darn hot, I`d burn!

  • HOW ABOUT TO GET STRONG LEGS, YOU GO FUCKING SQUAT AND DEADLIFT? FUCK YOU AND YOUR FAGGOT VIDEO

  • @Incurable1488 Yeah, if you don't know who Georges St Pierre is, he's one of the worlds best MMA fighters ever. When your fighting in the cage, you need work capacity and strength endurance. If you just do powerlifting/bodybuilding movements, you'll have your bulky ass smashed to pieces in 1 minute. This is for fighters.... If your looking for faggots to troll?.... Try the Jay Cutler videos. There's nothing more gay than watching muscly, tanned bodybuilders posing.

  • @adamresyk2112

    lol @ your life

  • @Incurable1488 Good to see the roid rage has settled.

  • @adamresyk2112

Well now that I'm not in a testosterone-induced rage, why wouldn't you be able to get strength endurance and explosiveness by doing high repetitions of intermediate weight squats, deadlifts etcetera? Wouldn't it be a lot simpler to just do supersets of say, a dozen narrow stance ATG squats with 220 as fast as possible, 1 minute rest, a dozen wide stance squats to parallel with 315 as fast as possible, 1 minute rest, two dozen burpees as fast as possible, etc?

  • @Incurable1488 Now that I'm no longer in troll mode, To be honest, I wouldn't know. I don't know a lot about strength and conditioning, I just pretend I do when I'm trolling online. I have a feeling, it has something to do with making the workouts sports specific. Also some of the top fighters often do things like 10 reps of 4 or 5 leg exercises (for example) in a row, without rest. I personally train like this. But again, I don't know what it does, I just copy what the pros do.

  • @adamresyk2112

If that's your inclination, you should check out stuff like the 20 rep squat. It's pretty beastly on its own, maybe you might like it. The idea is that you take your squat 10 rep max and force out 20 of them, but you have to do it all in one set, you can't set the bar down. Needless to say it works the legs a little, lol.

I do agree that for MMA they probably have to do a lot of speed conditioning on top of the strength training, though.

  • great work out. It really works, I didn't think a simple work out like this could do so much.

  • trying to market your product much?

  • @BrewP601

What product? I am not selling anything here.

  • good workout, tried everything, good results. Waiting for the next videos for leg workout.

  • @andrei19861

Glad you liked it. There are too many retarded people on youtube so i have pretty much stopped adding videos because of trolls. I am glad to hear feedback from people who are sensible and have something good to contribute. Thank you Andrei.

  • @robkingfitness Don't stop making videos because of trolls. I genuinely took a lot out of this demonstration and have now put into my weekly workout. A least know your helping those who are prepared to listen

  • I'm gonna incorporate all of these into my next workout routine. I'm gonna be fighting MMA real soon at the lightweight division. Would it be okay to do 5 sets of 12-15 reps? I'm going for more of muscular endurance and toning.

  • @jake85060

I would focus on strenght and speed here and save your "conditioning" work for other workouts.

  • @xLoveispreciousx thank you, i hope it helps you. MMA training isn't the same as bodybuilding training. last thing someone for MMA should be doing is leg extensions and leg presses. I did this to show the variety of training that can be done. I am glad you liked it.

  • @Shogun996 i think i would know where i was dude. I have been to laguna beach twice and chino california 3 times. that gym is in chino. If i said different it was a mistake. Glad the video helped you....if thats all you came away with from that video maybe you should post elsewhere. I only want people here that want to learn and help not troll. it was a great gym all the same.

  • You're not in Laguna beach, you're in Chino, California. I know because I got to that gym and the set the building and setup is exactly the same.

  • My God is that a gym or a train station during rush hour. People climbing all over each other in there.

  • this is awsome maybe im favoriting this for sure im trying to get into amateur MMA and i dont know much about workouts per say so this was very in depth thanks for the vid man

  • ah, gsp does not do most of these. and he has a lot of other more explosive exercises he does. i don't care to go over all of them right now :D

  • @kappkids

WOW> That has to be one of the most intelligent replies on all of youtube. Thanks for your insight.

    Buy Jon Chaimbergs DVD.

  • @robkingfitness huh?........

  • I wanna see more workouts and less talking..

  • great video

    thanks man!

  • horrible cammera man I wanna see his whole body,.

  • I go to the gym regularly but naturally my lower body is bigger than my upper body, no matter how much i work on both. Any tips for me to tone down and get leaner legs while retaining strength?

  • @ndknight23

Genetics always play a role, but what kind of training program are you doing?

  • @robkingfitness I tend to do a lot of multi lift exercises, i.e. bench press, deadlifts, cleans, and squats. Should I concentrate more on single leg workouts to get the leaner legs I want? Sweet vids by the way.

  • its a wonder how gsp is only 170

hes such a strong 170 lber

  • @fmsstarstraps182

Hes a monster. Amazing at cutting weight and rehydrating. Wreslters have this down to a science

  • @fmsstarstraps182 gsp drops weight to 170 he walks around about 185

  • i like the bulgarian split squats, but the hungarian deadlifts don't feel right. is there supposed to be a stiff pull in the back of the knees when doing them?

  • @WannaGoRounds

No, I would suggest you do some stretching and soft tissue work to see if there is something that may be out of balance there. It may not work for you.

Not every exercise can work for everyone, depends on your build, injuries, dominant muscles etc.

  • can someone pleast tell me what the benefit is of the fast jumps after those single leg bulgarian squats shpwn at the beginning? I've done those before but never the fast jumps afterwards. Thank you

  • @MensaLaddy Im not a expert but I do this with my workouts, and after doing the 1 leg squats my legs are already really stressed and then by doing the fast jumps im forcing my legs to perform in the red zone, not only stimulating the fast twitch for speed but also great for power ... seems to work as well sucks when your doing it!!! but feels good after.

  • @MensaLaddy

Many reasons, but loading the muscle with something heavy and slower, then when you remove the weight you can explode and adapt fast

IE like grappling then having to punch afterwards. you want to be able to explode even after depleting strength

  • ahahahahha stupid americans... they all want to be some movie stars :)

  • How many sets are done with the Glute Bridge Complex workout?

  • @Sek12021

    3 Sets is fine

  • do some videos on how to get back like GSP as well as his shoulders, thanks.

  • @neso1234

For sure.I have a lot of info on his back training etc. Ill do it up for sure

  • I am 6 ft. 165 pounds. I have been lifing for a long time and have read countless articles on building leg mass. I'm an ectomorph and I would like to know what program will add mass to my chicken legs??? Please help

  • @nickwill1

Its not easy being tall and building your legs, could be worse though as im short and I cant grow taller lol

try to hit the muscles with exercises that you feel. long mechanics can throw things off, ill make a note of it and try to cover it in a future video

  • @nickwill1 Heavy scuats. And try doing leg workouts more than one day a week. I know a guy who could never get his legs to grow. Until he started doing legworkouts 3 times a week! Everyone is different but if you've tried all and nothing works. Perhaps you need to to it more frequently. And ofc eat like a healthy pig

  • hey rookie question: im a pretty skinny guy, and i work out my thighs a good amount, but theres still some fat on them. i want my legs to get bigger, but also harder like gsp's. so shud i do heavier weights and fewer reps, or lighter weights and more reps??

  • @vinsanimo

Do as much variety of training as possible, but if you have fat on your legs the most important factor is good nutrition to aid in fat loss.

  • @vinsanimo

Nutrition plays the biggest role for fat loss, much more than training

  • @robkingfitness Thanks heaps man, because im caryring alot of fat atm on my upper legs, where the quads and hammis are, if i do this everyday morning and night, will it lose all the fat there? Thanks again

  • Ey rob, do the (lunges) make your legs toned or lose fat on your legs, because im carrying abit of fat atm and i want to make my legs look good =]

    Thanks man nice vid

  • @alex1joey

Hey Alex, not really. the most important thing for losing body fat is ALWAYS GOOD NUTRITION! Yes this type of training will help burn fat but the nutrition side is by far the most important aspect for fat loss ok.

  • thank you so much for this workout. this is going to be my leg workout everyday. thank you rob!

  • @crazykorean2268

Awesome! its very different but glad you like it!

  • I think these are great workouts for your legs good stuff!!!!!!!

  • @tufintraining

thank you for your feedback, glad you like it
