and this movie was remade into 500 Days of Summer. some of the scenes and scenarios between the two films are eerily familiar, but this movie has so much more honest soul in it. Zooey needs to become an actress again.

@allena22 I think the "haters" problem--which I have to an extent as well--is that Zooey recycles the same Manic Pixie Dream Girl role over and over, and it gets so repetitive. What's so special about her performance/role in this movie is that Noel is not the sum of her quirks, its her innocent look at the world that makes her lovable and makes Paul fall for her. She needs to do more movies like this.
