how does the zx750.1 amp sound with it? it don't give it too much power? i have a cvr 12" in a 25hz ported box. insulated and all. got it all from kicker! but i'm using a brand new legacy la370 500w amp, and i bridged it. i haven't got around to hooking it up in my car yet. but i'm definately certain i would rather have a kicker amp, to go with my kicker sub. i justt got new kickers today, got the ds series, 6x9's and 3.5's for a 94 cavalier rs.
yea they have 4ohm CVR...you can wire them down to 1ohm or 2ohm though to make them louder to your liking....but the 2ohm you cant wire down to 1ohm....thats as far as what i know and what ive been told though. hope it helps
i dunno the limit on how far away i can hear it. but i did pull into my friends driveway with it slammin and from about 10-15 yards away i was shaking the gutters on his house.. no joke

what are your amp settings like? im putting around 700 rms through my cvr and im scared its gonna blow, shud i have the gain all the way to the left?

i havent heard a 4 ohm CVR. but most people say the 2 ohm models are slightly louder but its hardly noticeable.

damn i am going a 4 ohm CVR 12" they are badd ass hell you cannot notice the difference of 2 ohm and 4 ohm

i used to own a dual 2 ohm 12 inch cvr no difference in the loudness
