Page would have taken the #1 spot if she had done more acting because in looks and character, she's a whole lot better than Monroe in my opinion. She also made her own clothes. Her life after her modeling is also something to aspire to. She wanted to be a missionary but more importantly, she gave of her time to be with orphans and out-of-wedlock mothers. She would take the bus from her school to do that. That really says a lot about her character and something I really admire her for.

But, that was never shared with Bettie. She truly did not understand all the fuss over her sexy pics. She remains an icon.

Bettie was so special. She has more fans today than when she was modeling. She made you believe that she was your friend in the way she posed. No one else comes close to Bettie. Thanks Tim and yes I too am jealous.

Betty is smart in the sense she wants to preserve her persona. To be remembered as she once was. As she is compared to Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield who are forever young and gone at an early age.
