You are an absolute fool! Have you been to Erdely, probably not. I have, and your wonderful government refuses to even pave the roads to Hungarian speaking communities. There has been a history of Hungarian speaking people being beaten in Romania, not allowed to speak Hungarian etc. Also, there are certain portions of Romania which still have a Hungarian majority. Wonder why, its because Erdely or Transylvania was a part of the Kingdom of Hungary for nearly 1000 years.
by selling the romanians from harghita and covasna the politicians put at risk our entire country. all bad ugly things that UDMR does now will return to them eventually. what hungarians need to understand is that there can't be an autonomus region in the center of our country. that's impossible and not for historical reasons but for political reasons!

I live in the middle of all this chaos, I'm a Romanian and i feel that I am discriminated in my own country while I am being accused of discriminating the Hungarian minority. There is bad blood between us but there are also friendships and kinship. i don't want to generalize, there are some "bad apples" on both sides.

You are an absolute fool! Have you been to Erdely, probably not. I have, and your wonderful government refuses to even pave the roads to Hungarian speaking communities. There has been a history of Hungarian speaking people being beaten in Romania, not allowed to speak Hungarian etc. Also, there are certain portions of Romania which still have a Hungarian majority. Wonder why, its because Erdely or Transylvania was a part of the Kingdom of Hungary for nearly 1000 years.

guys! this is super entertaining! just love the "debate" that's been going on and i'm really happy i got some interesting reading ahead of me. I live in the middle of all this chaos, I'm a Romanian and i feel that I am discriminated in my own country while I am being accused of discriminating the Hungarian minority. There is bad blood between us but there are also friendships and kinship. i don't want to generalize, there are some "bad apples" on both sides.

@Hungarus1 what hunagrian army...as far as i know hungary didn't really exist in 1916 ..it was incorporated in the austrian empire...and besides the germans occupied bucharest not austrians...aaaaand we also had in 1919 an army of 18-20 years old recruits. A defeat is a defeat in whatever circumstance and that is a hard thing for you to understand my dear friend

second of all in 1919 we fought against hungarians and bolsheviks on 2 fronts
this had happened because the hunagrians and bolsheviks collaborated against Romania

@Hungarus1 Romania didn't surrender in 1916 and defeated the austrian and german army in the deffensive battles of Oituz and Marasesti in 1917, and conducted a victoriuos offensive against the germans at Marasti, also in 1917. After the fall of the tzarist regim in the autumn of 1917 in the begining of 1918 we asked peace from the central powers. The peace was not signed by King Ferdinand of Romania, therefore the state of war continued to exist against germany and austria.

From the bolshevick side Romania was to be attacked from ukraine by the red army. The attack occured but was stoped by the Romanian Army. The red attack led to a temporary stop of the offensive against hungary at the line of Tisa river, due to the need of relocation of troups to the eastern front

@dankawa123 when we ( monarchy) only have small armys. whe one battles against you at Kisbári, Nagybári - recaptured Nagyszeben , and the romanian army destroyed at Vöröstorony-pass. you tried offensive at brasso at ok.4 but you faild. then the german-austrian-hungarian troops captured bukarest. the fight contiuned in moldova where you ..yes.. one the battles you sad upper. but then you make peace at 1917 ;)

Did you know, for instance, that miklosh horthy offered the crown of hungary in 1921 to The King Ferdiand of Romania? Offer that was refused. And by the way....why the hell hungary attacked Romania in 1919? Knowing that it has inferior army forces. And did you know that the french stopped the Romanians from continuing the war against the austrians? All the best!! :)

@dankawa123 yes i know horty offered the crown to the romanian king, because hungary was a kingdom with no king after the WW1. hungary not attacked romania, only the territory that romania occuped from us before we sign the trianon dictate. ( it was a dictate becuse no one ask the hungarian side, and beacuse theoretically this was a peace trial that is suppose that. )

Whatever, just think about that : EVRYONE when they hear about ROMania or people from ROMania they are treated just like some clothes... All of you deserve it !! But one hungarian its more respected then all ROMANIA!! If you were not so "hard in the chest" then maybe you could have a piece of respect from the rest ... Just think about that. Then my second explication, i will quote it :

transilvana was hungarian for 1000 years and 'romanian' in the last 90. we dont wanna take your lands because we are a small country - we just wanna take back what you have stolen licking the french and the antant's ass. i really pity you, you dont have any real history, real culture and real heritage. you should stole all of them.

@daccalvonaglo our history is much better than the hungarians! Romanian (Dacian) people have ALWAYS been in EUROPE... and hungarians were usually mongolians!!

@AnnaLuciaGH i am an archaelogy student. please show me any evidence of the contiunity of the dacian tribes and the now living romanians.. you cant do it, because your ancestors have came from somewhere the now called Macedonia and Albania. I could allege that too, our ancestors are the mayas, the bantus or the vinca culture of the early neolithic, but if have no proves, i am not right. as you are not right, when claim the continuity between dacians and romanians. get it?
