I love your trixordo's ixo, any idea who made it? I have a very similar tetraxordo, dont know who built it, but it is around 30 years old and probably one of the best bouzoukia I have ever played. These oldies are gems.

is there any way to tune a 4 string to the sound of a trixordo?

Tune the F string down to a D. If you like tune also the C string down to an A so you don't get clashing resonance. This way you get a similar effect.

If he gets on your nerves, try annoying him by playing wrong notes. Also un-tune the bouzouki slightly. That really winds him up!!!!!
