I hate how they made Pyramid Head the series icon. Pyramid Head was a demon created by James's mind to punish him for his sins, basically his own personal demon, so Pyramid Head should only be in the second game.

@reneeleach001 Well, the look of Pyramid Head is likely based off Jimmy 'The Red Devil' Stone, an executioner. Head of punishment basically. Thats what Pyramid Head was. A punisher. A manifestation of James guilt, the Silent Hill movie cult's guilt (whether they thought they were guilty or not), and the guilt of Alex and his father, all to be punished. It makes me less angry to think of it that way lol

@curiouskat03 Here's a tip: you don't have to fight ALL the monsters. Stick to killing those that actually prevent you from going further (like in corridors and stuff like that) and you should save a lot of time and health. In fact, you can pretty much walk or run past every single monster during the outside parts (and really you should, because you often end up fighting one monster only for another to sneak up from behind).

Oh, and kick them when they're down to finish them. Always.

@curiouskat03 Here's a good tip if you're having trouble with the game. Beat the game on easy first, the monsters only take about 3 wacks and they''re dead. I pretty much went through the whole game just using melee weapons. On a second play through you get the chainsaw. Don't use em on the spitters cause it takes too long but it works great on the leg body monsters. Just use the saw and they'll literally walk right into your chainsaw. :D

As much as I love silent hill 2. The first and third were so much better. I think the continuity made this game great. The second game took the fear away from the game, at least for me. There was no cult, no need for urgency. No missing child. I feel the SH should have never made the second game as a silent hill game. Don't get me wrong I love it but Its just not like the 1st one and the 3rd one.
