I'm pretty sure the second one you ate wasn't a locust. Look it up and you'll note that locusts look more like giant grasshoppers. That one you ate definitely looks like a type of cockroach, but don't worry... in contrast to what some people assume... most cockroaches are pretty clean actually, and only a small number of the thousands of varieties out there are even considered as "pest" species. There are several that even live out in the wild. Closely related to termites (which are also eaten).
