Taxi driver has nothing on this movie..sorry..taxi driver is great but this is a masterpiece. And I agree buy the damn movie. its worth owning. SUPPORT true artists. and lets help Gaspar Noe to continue making these amazing movies he makes. This one totally blew me away and im a huge movie fan or all types...this one is just incredible. And oh...even if this move WAS all done in stills it still would be amazing..no pun intended...oh ok pun intended haha.

@ovidiu92 Buy this movie. Download mainstream films that already make millions of dollars and show some financial support for something that isn't already drenched in profit. It's sad but true, but if art doesn't get money it won't keep getting produced.

C'est le meilleur film qui m'a été donné de voir avec "Begotten" (rien à voir avec Carne,Seul contre tous et Irreversible). Des films comme ca qui vous mettent une claque c'est trés rare surtout en france.

'Seul Contre Tous' is the most honest film ever made. 'Le Boucher', the prequel, is equally brilliant. ten times the movie of the largely disappointing 'Irreversible'(apart from the soundtrack)

Usually, my favourite few films I watch time and time - like A Clockwork Orange and City of God. Noe's films are right up there, amongst my favourites - yet have have never watched any of them twice...just the one viewing. Irreversible and I Stand Alone, are just amazing. Really blew my mind wide open!

This film looks excellent, I didn't think I'd say this, but I really like Noe. I thought Irreversible would be "artistically-justified" controversial crap, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

@Kashadooo I can agree in what you stated in reply. Keep in mind I didn't say it was a "better" movie than "Taxi Driver" . I did think it was a more "honest" movie in as much as if you are seeking a movie about a man at the end of his rope, "Seul Contre Tous" feels like you are watching a real soul on fire. I don't want to take anything away from "Taxi Driver" It is a fantastic film. I for the most part wanted to give those that had not seen SCT a bit of a reference.
