  • never said i was never said i wasn`t; more the pure a myth kids today got all kinds of werid chemicals in them when born; i just got pissed as my enjoyment of a song was being upset by someone making out that because the writer fucks up is a human im supposed to think of all the sick stuff in the world missing totally what music songs are

  • i wonder how many people who go on about molesting children dont mind the sweat shop goods where children are worse than molested; im going to suggest a child molested for few minutes is less mucked up than children forced to work . i get really sick of this blaming people for being shits;; if you use oil you are a murdering psycho killer

  • Sounds like he needs smoke a few more Camel no filters, to me...

  • this guy was a child molester what a sick fuck.

  • lol i was singing that in skool today!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where did you get this version?

I searched for it on itunes but could only find the original, along with a whole bunch of covers

  • Always been a great song and always will be!!

  • argh double post sorry

  • I love this version. Supposedly this is the way John Philips wanted the version performed by M&P's to sound like. Management however decided to take the dark edges off and the rest is history. Although I do like the 'catchy' version of the M&P's, I'm a sucker for melancholic, darker songs like this one. John Philips recorded his version much later in his life, not long before he passed away. His voice is both raw and fragile, I think it's beautiful.
