Snow in the Lakes is great, it hides the hideous mess (from which Helvellyn suffers more than many fells) of the roadbuilding that's been done by some complete and utter idiots in the name of footpath "repair".
Excellent video, I got up there yesterday, Striding edge first then down Swirral edge etc, I will definately return in the winter if the conditions are like that, and the sheep we saw had the blue no.8 written on them, I though they were racing sheep =D
