why do the tractors blow so much black smoke?

possibly the injector size. black smoke (soot) is just partially burnt fuel. they will blow black when there is a load on it cause your forcing the fuel into it and dragging it down at the same time.. but thats just my knowledge

nice tractor and you did a good job getting the behind the scenes that the spectators just don't get to see. the set up checking in/teching and the hours of waiting around for one or two runs followed by a rat race between runs to fix and get ready for the next run. good luck with the deere they make a nice puller

Some have a hydraulic style clutch which requires a revving it up constantly to get it to move and the slowest gear is normally really quick also every minute of run time on those is money flying out the window they arent built for endurance just performance
