Use Distilled water only! 2) Rinse the quart glass jar you're making it in out to make sure nothing is in it. 3) heat the water to warm. 4) Stir the water a little. 5) Cook for an hour to 90 min's to get around 15ppm. 6) strain through a coffee filter into an amber glass jar...24 hours later, the silver will be a light amber color.....At least mine is. Did I miss anything?

No it doesn't. After straining, I shine a laser light through it and I can see the beam with the small silver particles it in. When the process is done, you're left with the large particles from the process. It won't hurt you to consume it, but I strain it anyway, then do a ppm test on it and am usually left with 10 to 15 ppm with nothing floating in it as it would be if I didn't strain it.

@SpeedMetal4635 ~Its best to use distilled water only, in emergencies other water can be used, of course pay attention to the reactivity, if it turns dark forget it [a bit unfair to say given various factors]. if it clouds white, it is "hypothetically" ok provided your not using it alot, the idea is to create pure silver particles and not silver compounds which form with impurities, these "silver salts" are what can be harmful in enough quantity. @Zimba9810 ~1- Batteries work fast if 3>9V are used = 27V, also depends on your electrodes? are they long thin wire or short thick pieces? also your distancing is another variable, say 1" apart with 27V seems good for 20-30 min but as they die...

you can use a DC adaptor usually 12V 500ma like I use but it takes longer, say 60-120min; however you dont have to buy batteries every so often.

2-Too much is to much, everything in moderation

3- It is good to drink it & apply it to an infection etc.

I think it depends on the plastic as well as to how much they leach into the water. You're using HDPE (as you probably are fully aware!!) which is one of the best I hear!

And yeah it's probably fine. It's metals you really need to worry about, although I would also be wary of making CS in plastics that leach more like PP.

Distilled water is the main thing I think :)

The darker the higher PPM. You can make a higher PPM by letting it cook longer. I would use something other than a plastic jug as most purchased colloidal say not to store in plastic.

I've seen videos that say to take as little as a dropper full to 2-4 oz of this stuff. Not really sure which is the right amount. As long as you don't take over a quart a day you don't have to worry about turning blue they say. Also do not add salt to cause it will change the compound and you will turn blue.

Orange juice or citrus is too acidic for a bladder infection. It always used to give me one. I found that a 1/2 tsp of baking soda and molasses will usually cure it for me within an hour. or some alka seltzer will do in a pinch. My chiropractor says the soda and molasses will cure cancer since it loves sugars it is attracted to the molasses and the soda will neutralize it. I'm not sure how much you need or for how long on this though.

I use distilled water only. If I were in a bind and needed some CS and only had RO water, I would use it without hesitation. But, if I'm going to make a large quantity, and not take it all immediately, I think it is best to use the purest water available and that is distilled.

Hi Janet I really need to start producing CS for the strays that I help rescue & transport. Most have been neglected, abused, starved & exposed to every possible disease due to low immune systems. I usually brew a gallon of water for at least 3 hours. It is at room temperature, so it takes quite a while, and I always shoot a laser thru it to make sure that it is well concentrated.

I take it by the cup, when I have a sickness, otherwise, I don't take it. Most people take it as a preventative, but I don't.

Instead of using a laser, you can also just add a tiny bit of table salt to the solution and it should turn cloudy if silver is evident. This is also the best way to see if what you have purchased, is truly colloidal silver.

There is a more accurate way to know the strength of your colloidal silver.

A PPM meter will give you an exact reading. They can be purchased for about $15 on Ebay. The recommended mixture is between 5 to 10 PPM (Parts Per Million).

thank you for the comment, and no thank you to a PPM meter. Having had wonderful success using CS for such a long time, I really don't give a hoot to know how many parts per million, and I believe that those cheap meters probably give wildly inaccurate readings.

Every batch I make, I shoot a laser thru to verify the concentration of particles. I have made a vid of the laser thru tap water and thru CS. Maybe I will post it soon. Its kinda interesting to see the difference.

Hi, Flyhigh, I don't take CS on a regular basis, I take it when I have been exposed to something, or when I think I am coming down with something or if already have a full blown illness. I also don't take it by the spoonfull. If I am already sick, I sip an 8oz glassful over an hour or two, then another glass later that day, or the next. For strep throat or tonsillitis, I gargle with peroxide, rinse, then gargle with CS + drinking a glass. A tablespoon may not be very effective. good luck

Only 5 people have ever been documented to have this condition. They were consuming huge quantities of impure (containing salts and minerals, etc) silver water daily for long periods of time.

I don't think it affects the plastic in the least. I always made my silver water in a glass jar for the last 10 years or so, til one day, I thought, whats the difference? I buy distilled water in plastic jugs, and put it into a plastic bottle when its finished, and the process itself doesn't cause changes to the plastic jug, so why not just make it in the jug.

Since I only take it when I am coming down with something or am already sick, I figure, its ok.

I don't know what the "plastic colliodal" is. Since there is no heat applied, and the water has no "plasticky" taste, or smell, I have no worries.

I was just playing around with different ways of doing CS as shown on my site. Stirring by air keeps the silver clear. But I had comments about the compressed air putting dust into the water so I made up a air/water filter system. I usually use just 3 batteries in a RadioShack black project box and the wires such as you use..I have a cabinet that I keep it in. The washer setup was just to make it easy to get the pictures..Cheers..Keithmj

Nice video..Why use bleach for the cleaning when the silver should do the job? I use "bleach for the cleaning" because bleach is a cleaner, colloidal silver is not a cleaner. A weak bleach water solution will take up all the spilled orange juice, and the grease that leaked thru the pizza box, and all the other yuk that gets on my surface during the course of the day.

Since I've made CS for over a decade, don't you think I've tried all the different ways, and finally settled on the one that's best for me?

Thanks for your suggestions, but I don't want a distiller, I drink reverse osmosis/filtered, and I buy distilled for CS, because I need the jugs for storage and shipping.

I went to your site. My Goodness! What a complicated way to do something so simple. Doesn't your wife get tired of having all that stuff on top of her dryer?

Doing that in a plastic jug makes me think I will be drinking colloidal plastic. Plastic is bad for you ... I use a home water distiller $150 takes the flouride out of my drinking water too. I keep my daily drinking water that I distilled in Gallon size Ice tea Jars

Your rite, plastic is bad for you, so, I restrain myself from chewing on the plastic jug.

I don't heat the water so the plastic doesn't melt into it, and running a tiny amount of electricity thru the silver wires does not cause the jug to disintegrate into the water. I drink reverse osmosis/filtered water, my choice.

ATTENTION ALL YOU PLASTIC PHOBIANS!! For the most part plastic is inert and does'nt react with anything with- out heat being involved. The silver bonds with mloecules in the water, NOT the plastic.
