The song is by Bob Marley & The Wailers. Peter Tosh, a member of The Wailers had lead vocals on this song. Its still by Bob Marley & The Wailers. Now stop arguing. You all seem ignorant. Anyways, such a beautiful song:]
If you listen closely you will hear Bob Marley starting the song and yes, Peter Tosh is singing lead, but Bob is singing backup. It is obvious that Bob's voice is singing the backups, his voice is very distinctive.
For Christ sake, this is Peter singing, please post a photo of Peter on there.
There are quite a few versions to this song, I am looking for a particular version with heavy keyboarding........... the best version....... Vintage Wailers and Tosh at the lead.
Where did you get that material from anyway ? Good work, keep posting, share them !

don't go to jamaica it's still apart of the culturalism of Babylon. Go where he was going, fight for I and I not the opposition. Flee Babylon, Micah 2:10, Revelation18:4, 2nd Corinthians 6:17, Isaiah 18:1-2, Isaiah 65:11-12. Please HEAR(understand) me O' children of Yis'rael(Amos 9:7)! Romans 10:17 and 2nd Corinthians 5:7
Sigh, another miscredit to Bob Marley. I like Bob Marley, but it's so utterly ridiculous how people seem to think that Bob Marley wrote, performed and created all of reggae. There are so many mistaken credits given to Marley, even on songs that sound nothing like him. This is yet another example. It doesn't take much listening to know that Marley sounds nothing like Tosh, and Tosh nothing like Marley. Too much ignorance among Marley fans, how ironic.
I think the name is"Bob Marley Stop That Train" just because it was bob who was the "leader" of the Wailers and it is easier for people to understand.Like you were saying, there are a lot of kids who just buy shirts who don't even know who Peter and Bunny are.
Possibly, but when viewed in the midst of youtube and how so many songs that have absolutely nothing to do with Bob (except that they're in the same broad musical genre) are credited to him, it's hard to view it that lightly. The fact that there are no pics of Tosh here, further points to my argument. Tosh pictures can be easily found on the Net. And for those who don't know Tosh, lettering can be put into the videos. Island marketed the heck out of Bob, pushing the rest into the background.
@darjeelingtenenbaums But all this does is spread the ignorance. If they wanted to use Marley's name as the draw, they could have put Bob Marley and the Wailers. Not perfect, but at least it acknowledges that the Wailers are a group and not just one person. I'm a longtime Wailers fan, and IMO, once Tosh and Bunny left, the music was never as goo as when they were there. The edge was almost completely gone, and so were the great harmonies they shared.
@watdoejebigtime As well as that "Smoke Two Joints" song and "Bad Boys" by Inner Circle. I've even see the "Red, Red Wine" cover by UB40 attributed to Bob Marley. What these songs all have in common are that they don't even sound like Bob Marley, and yet people still "think" he sang them. It's as if their mantra is: "If it's reggae, and you don't know who sang it? Bob Marley did!!!"
