The county i live in most people have pistols and have a permit to carry. The average murder rate is 4 murders a year. Almost all are drug related. That should give you an idea of what we need. More responsible citizens and less government.

Robbery does not carry the death penalty. However, both INNOCENT citizens have a Constitutional right to defend themselves. In this case, FL law is explicit in dealing with deadly force to stop the commision of a forcible felony (ie, ARMED robbery). The county i live in most people have pistols and have a permit to carry. The average murder rate is 4 murders a year. Almost all are drug related. That should give you an idea of what we need. More responsible citizens and less government.

Your wrong. Under CA law a "threat" is not a legal right to use lethal force or shoot someone in self defense. Only a PROMISE (as you so put it) supported by clear and convincing evidence of that promise is sufficient enough to justify this. AND ONLY only with the proper permits and licenses! I would consult an attorney to see if this business owner had the proper permits and rights to hire an armed man on the premises. Here in Los Angeles he needs all kinds of paperwork to do that. If he did not have the proper licenses and permits there might be a chance to file a lawsuit. I'm not sure about FL though.

I hope you have a Concealed Weapons Permit and it's concealed if you carry down here. The local police are pretty stiff on open carry since it's not allowed what so ever. Robbery does not carry the death penalty. However, both INNOCENT citizens have a Constitutional right to defend themselves. In this case, FL law is explicit in dealing with deadly force to stop the commision of a forcible felony (ie, ARMED robbery). This right extends both to self and "in lieu of" others who are being threatened. Perfectly moral, and perfectly legal.
Maybe YOU would like communist China if you choose to usurp the rights of others to defend themselves.

Pseudo is a big word? Sigh... it is sad when just because someone who uses more then 50 words in a dictionary gets this sort of response. Here is a bit of advice mate, don't go to EU since they use nearly 3 times the amount of words that people in the States uses on a daily basis.
But yeah seriously, the fact that you would wish that on someone who you disagree with really tells a lot about your character, rather unpleasant and most certainly unsightly.
