Yamatsukami isn't the real deal. I killed him solo with full yamatsukami armor gemmed for rapid sharpening and withthe smolder dragonsword in about 45 minutes. He isn't so strong it just that he has a large amount of life.

I definitely recommend just getting this one, as it is by far the best of the PSP versions of MH. It would be a waste to get MHF2, since this game has everything that game has plus more, and the first freedom game just isn't as good as this one.

Traps don't work on him. I don't think it can be stunned or be put to sleep, though I haven't tried it.

@Nz0x You can't sleep him or paralyze him with trap. But you can paralyze him with sleep bombs, when he does the vortex wind attack, if you not a target or are skilled and brave like some, throw tranqs in his mouth. 1st time it take two to drop him, next it takes 3... you get free carve.

you have to unlock and beat the HR6 Shen Gaoren to unlock akantor. To unlock shen gao ren, you have to complete the hr 6 black diablos, hr6 black gravios, hr6 gold rathian, hr6 silver rathalos, and PnA(Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos) quest.

I have a video about the Broken Horn Diablos quest in my MHP2G/ MHFU playlist on my page. You can use that strategy to kill both versions really easily. The only thing is, you dont have to use heroics like I did, but i just used it to make the video faster is all.

mh3 comes on wii only in 2010. this game wouldnt work on my psp even when i upgraded the software on my psp to 5.1. mh3 is gonna be better and less hassle cuz the wii automatically updates. Cool game though. MH3 Rocks!

Probably the copper blangonga LS, but really, there isn't a clear cut #1 LS, certain ones work great in certain situations. Just try to make all the best LS's if you can.

Use any dragon or ice type LS if you can, since Yama is weak to both of those elements. If not, then just use the strongest one you have available to you, and you should be fine.

Thank you for the compliment, though i don't think im a pro, but i appreciate it none the less :-). At the point when you fight Yama for the first time, it will be about impossible to make the final form of the Copper Blango LS, as it requires HR9 Rajang material to make. However, the Copper Blango LS before the final is more than good enough, 1392 attk, so go for that one if you can. If not, just try making the Lao Shan Lung LS and you should be ok.

yea I have seen it in action before, it requires a device to create a wireless signal and a program that creates "Rooms" were you join... it is complex and I forgot how to do it, but I remember it is a hack that lets you play tons of PSP games via wifi

To my knowledge, MHFU doesn't support Infrastructure, but with adhoc mode, as long as you and the person you want to play with are within a certain distance (20 feet if im not mistaken) you can connect together in the online gathering all, as long as the PSP's are set to the same channel.

Giadrome Assault: kill Giadrome

The Mountain Roughrider: kill Bulldrome

Hunt Down the Velocidrome: kill the Velocidrome.

Blue Menace of the Jungle: Kill Blue Yian Kut-Ku.

Attack of the Giant Bugs!: kill 50 Vespoids.

Hunt the Gendrome: kill the Gendrome.

The Land Shark: kill the Cephadrome.

The Lurking Desert Giant: kill the Daimyo Hermitaur. this is easy stuff for me.
