  • It is possible to do this with straight legs. I have been doing ballet for a couple of years and no it is not impossible. but to gain you need to work for it. Start small and do maybe 10 reps at first every day at least 2-3 sets and you will see great results ^^

  • @xbrinarocksx dont over work yourself, and yes, pretty sure but if you excersize like 2-3 hours for 3 days of the week or 30 mins everyday, itll work :)

  • @SuperJassi101 when u first start off it will probably be unbearably painful tbh. tips:

    1. the girl in this vid probably did this a zillion times. you don't have to put ur lower leg quite as low as hers. put it like halfway above the ground.

    2. do it on a yoga mat. helps ease the pain. no yoga mat? use a carpet or blanket.

    3. you should feel "the burn". but you shouldn't feel like your burning into ashes. (TRUST ME,couldnt feel my tailbone for 3 weeks)

    4. Practice makes perfect.

  • You need to pull yourself up by your abs, not by your neck.

  • @MrXTGZX I don't think they're trying to rub it in or anything or make it look so easy, they just need someone that can do the excersize right so they can correctly teach others how to do it. And it's only easy if you practice a bit at it. if you're trying to lose weight, the excersizes aren't supposed to be easy on your body otherwise you wouldn't get anywhere. and to be fair, she's not really anorexic, just healthy and fit

  • @itmademefeelsmall If you dont do weights or a shit load of muscle gaining exercises you wont look all muscly. It is just natural that with exercise you will gain some muscle.

  • @bananadecosplit If its your first time your not gonna imedietly know how to do it and do it perfectly. Just keep trying and keep pushing yourself harder each time and you'll get there. But remember to give your body plenty of rests and drink lots of water! I find apples are great to eat after working out.

  • @MandaManiaa i'm a dancer, so I know what you mean. Doing exercises will tone your legs and build muscle. If you don't want more muscle in your legs, then you maybe shouldn't be doing exercises for them. Long-distance running or cardio is probably better, plus eating the right foods.

  • @1upma pull in your abs like you're trying to get your bellybutton to the floor. and keep your shoulders to the ground. this wont work your obliques as well, but is still a great move. :) good luck!

  • Ladies - Exercise isn't supposed to be painful! You can learn to enjoy it so that won't feel like a chore any more, and that's when the results start piling. ;)

    We have this move included in our pilates practice routine, and the instructor always reminds us that you can also bend your knees when bringing them up, if holding the legs up straight feels uncomfortable for any reason. Start small, and you'll get there eventually! :)

    everyday you'll improve and it makes you do multiple times of steps. for example: week1:5 times; week 2: 8 times; week 3 12 times...and so on...

    don't follow immediately the number of steps the video says especially most of you are newbie for this exercise.
