I had teh ROTLA action figures and the Map Room and Well of Souls playsets when i was a kid. Those were cool! I also had the LJN IJTOD action figures.
Th really funny thing is that when they sold the 12 inch figures as Star Wars toys they sold them as "dolls". But, in this commercial Indy is referred to as a large size Action Figure. Even though he is little more than a Ken Doll with a bad Harrison Ford head.
Agreed. I remember seeing a large sized action figure for Han Solo, and I thought he looked more like either Dylan McDermott or David Duchovney, than Harrison ford.
At least this Harrison Ford head looked something like him.
Man, that would have rocked! I don't think that toy ever came out though, did it? I had a small size figure though, of which they did make other characters.
Yes, it did come out. It was nothing more than the 12 inch Han Solo doll in different clothes. That's why he has that HUGE hat, to fit over Han's groovey haircut.
I literally laughed out loud when I realised that they were the same doll. My mom said... "Well, why not? It's the same actor." I think his eyes are blue as Han and brown as Indy. Otherwise, they were the same. They might have come out with the clothes-only. Then Han could have changed into Indy, Bladerunner, or Indy at the crack of a whip. :-)
lol. This commercial is hilarious! I still have my Indy figure in it's original box.

That Harrison Ford head was actually pretty good. Better than anything Hasbro has done lately. The hat however was crappy.
