Wonderful song, you did a great job! I was an Army wife for 22 yrs until my Hubby retired. I have been an Army Mom for 7 yrs, Marine Mom for 3 yrs and a Marine Sister for 17. All 3 still are serving proudly and have been deployed. Our family has been touched many times by the price that is paid during war. It is a tough life to live but I suppose someone has to do it. THANK YOU TO OUR MILITARY AND THE FAMILIES LIKE OURS THAT SUPPORT THEM!!

This is amazing, its beautiful yet heartbreaking at the same time, my Dad is a British troop, in Afghanistan at the moment, he's coming home for 2 weeks in the next couple of days, this song is just written so well, its really emotional, I love this song but it makes me cry to think it ever needed to be written. thanks for posting my brother died in iraq last year. when we found out he  died it was hard for me he was my best friend and my protector. when we told his kids they were devestated that was thier daddy their hero their protector. to josh RIP big brother you are loved and missed.

I remember the day we found out i got home from school and was excited to tell my mom about my day and some stuff that i had learned that day. My mom told me she had something to tell me that i needed to sit down. Then she told me that my big brother was killed in action. This was so hard for me to hear because my brother was my best friend. when we told his kids they were devestated that was their hero and their protecctor.

Don't forget to pray for your soldiers before you go to sleep. I pray every night for all of my friends that are over there and getting ready to go every night and have to worry if they will ever come back home. I firmly believe that if you don't stand behind us you can damn sure stand in front of us. Support your troops, you don't have to support the war itself to do that!
