I found this vidoe very useful but isn't the Dermis the second layer and not the last? Doesn't is go Epidermis (which has 5 layers in it), the Dermis and then the Subcutanous (spelling...lol) layer?
my problem with make up is whatever i do it doesn't stay on my face, when i touch my face with my finger i have foundation and powder on my finger. then it does not go on the imperfections but next to them and it's oily during the day even though i mosturize and prime my face with a matte base. what should i do?
What about raised acne bumps? Even though they maybe covered with concealer and foundation, I can still see raised bumps on my cheeks, which discourages me from wearing blush bcuz it makes the bumps stand out more...How can I cover those?

@sweetpraises Girl, you gotta embrace your face! I have the same problem, and there is no way you're going to make the bumps invisible. And what does it matter ? :) If you have nice, rosy cheeks, I don't think ANYONE is going to look at the texture of your skin as long as you look pretty! You are beautiful no matter what! :)

At 40, my skin is STILL acne-prone. My current foundation: Nutragena oil-free skin-clearing makeup in 30/Buff. The consistency is enough that if I need more, I can layer. I positively adore Almay smart-shade concealer in Light/Medium. Great tips for foundation in another vid. Keep 'em coming! xoxo

Do you use airbrush at all? Because your skin isn't in contact w/ brushes that have germs, it will prevent acne and because you use very little makeup for really good coverage, it won't clog the pores as much! : )
im so happy that my skin is easy to cover because i have acne but there all flat pimples except for 2 but one on face one on forhead but i have bangs anyways so when makeup on i look flawless
@WTHxNINJAxCHICK lol actually a light green eyeshadow may just work :D it's nothing special about the product itself, it's just the colour spectrum. you just have to get a green that looks natural on your skin but still covers redness :)
have you ever tried Illamasqua rich liquid foundation? I use it and absolutely love it for its perfect coverage, some people here use it as concealer, because it gives perfect coverage. :)

I have a VERY fair skin tone. So much so that I've tried most of the department stores' lightest shades and there's still that horrible line that makes it look like my face got dipped in bronze or something. Is there a way to lighten the shades I do have so they're more compatible with my skin tone? With the fairness of my skin, I also have very red cheeks. It's hard to find a blush that doesn't make the redness worse, do you have any recommendations?

You should try accutane if your acne is that bad that you have to pile on that much makeup. It's not going to make it any better. No hate or anything, just experience.
@Nataliethecoolkid in other videos she has said that she has been on strict courses of antibiotics for her acne since age 12 and that accutane is not an option for her but that she uses high vitamin a(what accutane is) topical creams, not everyone is able to take accutane and there is a big long list of nasty side effects that goes with taking it such as super dry painful skin and aching joints

@makeuparg basicamente lo que dijo fue que el corrector color verde es para tapar las rojeses del acne, que es bueno usar una base en crema o de consistencia gruesa, eso ayudara a hacer la piel mas suave, asegurate de removerla por la noche, usar varias capas de tu base de maquillaje, dejas secar una y aplicas la otra para mejor acabado, tambien que contornear la cara y hacerle highlight, que apliques bastante rimel y brillo en los labios, espero que te haiga ayudado =)

You should try accutane if your acne is that bad that you have to pile on that much makeup. It's not going to make it any better. No hate or anything, just experience.

@Nataliethecoolkid in other videos she has said that she has been on strict courses of antibiotics for her acne since age 12 and that accutane is not an option for her but that she uses high vitamin a(what accutane is) topical creams, not everyone is able to take accutane and there is a big long list of nasty side effects that goes with taking it such as super dry painful skin and aching joints

Thank you for taking away my great disdain for women wearing make-up.
I've seen so many who will wear it just about anywhere to try to compete with other women. I found that extremely annoying. But seeing how you use it for modeling jobs and have added a genuine fun factor to it, I can finally see the "good" in what make-up has to offer.
And I'm a guy, lol. And secure about my sexual orientation.

@makeuparg basicamente lo que dijo fue que el corrector color verde es para tapar las rojeses del acne, que es bueno usar una base en crema o de consistencia gruesa, eso ayudara a hacer la piel mas suave, asegurate de removerla por la noche, usar varias capas de tu base de maquillaje, dejas secar una y aplicas la otra para mejor acabado, tambien que contornear la cara y hacerle highlight, que apliques bastante rimel y brillo en los labios, espero que te haiga ayudado =)

i also suffer from cystic acne and watching your videos has saved me a lot of time and money on other products, I'm currently on Minocycline but I've also heard that Doxycycline is good. which one do you think works better (one doctor wants me on Minocycline, other doctor wants me on Doxycycline)

I love your videos very inspirational! Do you have any tips for covering old acne scars? I had really bad acne in my teen years. Skin is clear and flawless now but still have some small scars from the acne on the apple of my cheeks. Oh and the scars are not red or anything just scars from popping zits with my fingers when I was a teen. Thanks any help would be appreciated

I have acne in between my eyebrows, I have a question! Could it be from the oils in my eyebrows, getting rubbed into the middle! Btw great tips, but I am only 12 so I am not allowed to wear foundation just concelar! My acne is super bad because its getting a lot better now! I have been using proactive step one, then after using marykay velocity face cleanser! I have also been applying aquaphor all over my face, because my skin is super dry! My skin is looking amazing though! I hope yours clears!
