  • Haven't seen this one! Thanks for post! Big Chan Fan!

  • Joe Arnold is a surprise treat! Richard Lane is Dick Lane the old announcer on Roller Derby and Wrestling. So nice to see Ol' Leather Britches in a film. He is really missed!

  • It is hard to be clever, calm, and inscrutable in a maternity ward surrounded by 11 children but Charlie Chan manages to pull it off LOL I love these old mysteries. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Warner Oland was of Swedish Desecent,Sid Toler was an American character actor/dialectician and scriptwriter/producer from Mo.

  • The guy playing Charlie Chan is clearly American

  • @Falgroate he's a fuckling swede douche, look it up on wiki

  • @kurt9876543210 no, this actor is Sidney Toler, not Warner Oland...

  • @kurt9876543210 Maybe I shouldn't put my nose in it, but Charlie Chan in Honolulu with Sidney Toler playing Chan. Both Toler and Roland Winters, who was after Toler, were both American actors. Warner Oland, who played Chan before Toler was born in Sweden in 1879.

  • this has a very good feeling for family much to the dismay I am sure of the politically correct dumb bunnies who love to jump in on the racist bandwagon hollering about racial stereotypes who by their hollering become stereotypes....in stereo no less

a very good family fare this one in every sense

  • yep nailed the one who did the murder, my clue is in the last note, notice I still have told you not the sex even of the perp, much less blatantly brazened out the name of dishonorable same and the lion is still the funniest character in the movie, too bad they didnt make him the perp

  • getting my guess in who the murderer is: chancy and premature the aimless intern no? there, now lets see if I got him or her

  • right. thanks for finding and posting this baby, especially the bit about the lion

    very entertaining lion grrrrrrrrrrrr

  • the woman chans son is interrogating looks enough like Bette Davis to be her sister

  • Great entertainment!

  • Fabulous share! Great value in the dialog, most telling of the times. Mahalo

  • they dont make movies like this anymore

  • Great Chan movie even thoughI prefer the Warner Oland Chan, as he seemed more authentic and affable?, also with a stronger believable relationship with his number one son Lee (Keye Luke), but everyone must have their favourites! Thanks for posting this great movie with Toler as Chan!

    Thumbs up and a fave!

  • Awesome !! I have not seen this movie in 25 years.

  • Thank goodness. I finally found this movie. I appreciate it. :)
